Almost 3 years ago now, three pilots chose to leave their current corporation and form a new company, an empire based, combat focussed corporation. That corporation was called Trinity Nova [TNT] and simply put this was intended to mean the New Trinity. A reference to this being a new start for 3 friends. Tyto, TECOR and myself.
We wanted our new corporation to be founded on friendship and not the cliched PR crap that every corp put out about being based on friends but real friendship. Since that time it has been my sincerest pleasure to know and on many occasions meet the members of TNT. As CEO it has been my absolute delight and joy to lead this company of friends.
In our long history we have striven to excel at what we did, the job of professional mercenaries avowing piracy and focussing 100% of our attention on each job that came along I am proud to say I believe we achieved what we set out to do. During this time TNT has destroyed countless billions in assets, destroyed alliances, wrecked corporations and generally delivered havoc and destruction for the simple cost of a few Isk. It has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions but mostly it has been just plain fun.
I have poured a huge amount of dedication, energy and time into TNT and for me this is an emotional moment. It is with the heaviest of hearts that I announce the closure of Trinity Nova as an organisation. To both the current members and the old members I offer my sincere thanks in helping me build TNT into an organisation that has established a firm reputation as mercenaries.
I recognise that many here will not know us, unless you've been in the market for mercenaries recently but for those that do and to all our clients over the last 3 years I wbid you all farewell on behalf of Trinity Nova Corporation.

It has been one of my greatest honors in EVE to get to know Viqer and the TNT guys. I also hold it as one of the standing great accomplishments of my corp that we were able to work side by side with TNT and be a part of their legacy in the mercenary world.
As Viqer said, unless you've been in the market or a victim you probably havn't heard of TNT because they let their guns do the talking. But never the less they should be well remembered by all of you and I for sure will never forget my experiences w them. You'll be missed my friends... ---

Aye,
it's true kayleigh but thank you for your kind words. And yours also Aleks.
TNT had the pleasure of flying as part of KIA alliance during it's time as empire / 0.0 mercenaries and we remember it fondly.
As for what we do now, some of us are heading to 0.0 to enjoy the side of the game we've not seen for a long time, if at all in some cases and others will be turning their hands to a little bit of non-consensual low security pvp :)
In a feat of David Copperfield proportions I'll be doing both by simply sending one character one way and and another, well erm ,the other way :)

The flag of TNT gets folded and packed neatly away :(
However;
The affect TNT has had ingame and in RL remains - the friends that i have made in corp through TNT have become family and that will always remain so :)
Time moves on and in our case its time to move on looking back in pride and looking forward to the future Eve brings us,
No matter what path TNT members will choose we will always remain family which has always been the case since the corp was founded,
We still and will continue having meets and many of us will continue flying together reinforcing the bond we have.
Viqer and TNT members i salute you all and raise a glass to members past and present and to the future, its been a honour knowing you all and flying with you, long may it continue,
Thankyou also to CCP in providing the oppotunity to know everyone in TNT, Now i look to the future and rejoining other friends and family ive made ingame.
Salutes Viqer Fell and TNT

Nice post and sorry to hear you're folding.
Your videos and membership showed a tight-knit, fun corporation.
I hope your members find their ways to corps that are just as fun and tight-knit. |

Good luck and good bye. It was nice to fly with you guys during your time in KIA Allaince.
It is sad to see one of the few real mercs go. I know that there are number of "Pirates who also kill for money", but after MC going out of business, KIA concentrating on the north and TNT closing, who is left?

These guys took me in and taught me the ropes, they made EVE For me for a long time and I consider many of them very close friends. TNT was an awesome group to fly with and an amazing place to be, I love you all guys and its a loss to EVE that your flag has folded. But then... All good things I guess o7

The mercenary world in eve is a mixture of hi-octane thrills and fights and hours of unendurable tedium.
We experienced contracts that spanned the universe and led us into fights on almost every gate and then contracts that simply resulted in the targets simply staying docked.
Nothing was more boring than being paid to sit and watch the outside of a station for a week but with dedication and single minded commitment my pilots completed each task with aplomb and humour.
The contrast is when you have a target that fights back or at least is stupid enough to keep undocking and flying about without realising it's in danger :)
Throughout our history we never pirated, we didn't tolerate smack in corp and we acted with cool impassionate calm to our victims. It was never personal and always professional.
I really shoudl have said thank you to one other group of people earlier but I will take the opportunity now to do so.
Thank you to all of our targets. Without your horrible and untimely deaths at our hands, we wouldn't have become who we are today :)

Edited by: Taram Caldar on 18/11/2008 15:18:53 Farewell TNT... You will be missed. As Alek already said it's truely been an honor working along side you these past months. On a more personal note I've had the pleasure of fighting against you when you were in KIA and I was a 'target'. I've had the pleasure of fighting alongside you, briefly, when we were both in KIA together, and again, most recently as a Noir. pilot and member of the Trinity Nova Alliance.
You are all truely classy people and great friends. I will miss having each and every one of you at my side in battle and hope that all of you find what you are looking for in EVE.
It has truely been an honor, Viqer, and everyone else in TNT.... take care, and fly nuts.... because well... flying safe is boring :) |

It's quite odd how many people we've ended up flying alongside that have been former targets. I guess it's hard to go through 3 years of warfare without coming across a wide selection of people that like blowing things up though :)
We'll definitely not miss that damned bird on Vent lol :p Only joking
As for what we do now as I mentioned I think the group will be going a diverse number of ways but I'm fairly sure that you'll see a lot of old TNT'ers suddenly pew pew'ing in new locations. PvP is in the blood for many of us and we'll not stop blowing things up just because we're no longer under the 3 starred red and black banner of Trinity Nova.

Good game, TNT.
I remember you making our life difficult in Molden Heath for a while, and forcing us to get our **** together. As a new player at the time, I marveled at the skill of some of your pilots. No doubt you'll continue to be respected throughout the galaxy.
And as the CEO of a corp that quickly approaches the three year mark, I can appreciate the dedication of keeping a unit like yours together for so long.
Best of luck with whatever comes next,
Dohl

Thank you Ace, Elcoco and Dohl,
Nude flying became de rigeur for our swedish members and we seemed to have some fairly honourary swedes during Ace's tutelage
I still recall FC'ing for KIA Alliance when TNT corp was part of their operations during the CCP Alliance tournament with you in my squad Elcoco and yes was good times.
As for your Corp Dohl, it is good to hear you kept things together so long.. Far too many of our opponents took the easy route and collapsed after receiving a visit from us so it is nice to hear you learnt from the lessons and grew stronger. I still like to think that we'd have some pilots to surprise and impress you today :)

If that was the job where we were hired against NASA alliance that was one of the more fun jobs we had in ages.
Within two weeks we'd torn them apart so much so their alliance collapsed pretty much to nothing from 500 members or whatever, I forget the details now being so old :)
It's interesting to me to note that if you type in mercenary services in google, TNT is the forst result above even real life security firms.
One of the most amusing threads I ever saw was when we got an enquiry as to whether we did hostage rescue jobs and were we available to undertake para militaryt operations in the phillipines. It was only then we realised that nowhere on our forum FAQ's actually referenced that we were only mercenaries in a pretend spaceship game.
I still think we should have taken the job though. :)
