That doesn't stop you from working towards filling the Third Term with CSM's who share our focus.
I'd be interested in anything you can tell me about potential candidates to 'promote' in our efforts, and if you're looking for a 'voice of the people' during this Term, I think you've found one.

Interesting twist of events. I would certainly vote for you to cause some chaos up in CCP's fanboi lair. But there are a few things I would firstly take into consideration...
1. The CSM is basically a sham so you can work for free for CCP and they can use you as a propaganda tool. The influence you want will probably be in futility.
2. Your real name and contact information will be publicly known. I know that I wouldn't want the next person I salvage thefted knowing who/where my kids were. I certainly realize that this is just a game, but there are some sick people out there. I've run across a few of them.

You sound vaguely familiar. Have we met?
On a serious note, I think we may need to talk. I'm sure your particular brand of 'input' would be of particular benefit in this endeavour. Provided, of course, you're not planning on internally griefing our Corp again.

Possibly, but this is understood by all involved before they apply to the CSM. I, for one, am interested in the publicity as much as they are, in this case, I'm sure. Heck, I've already been in the EvE Magazine as well as posted in the News, this is yet another venue I have to exploit for the betterment of the game.

This is certainly a concern. Coming from your background as a "Master Griefer", of course, I understand your position. The saving grace is, of course, the fact that RL issues can be dealt with using RL means, some of which I'm familiar with to varying degrees of success. I am certainly hopeful it would never come to pass, however, I'll try to be prepared in any event.

this.
G/l and everything but as you should well know by now, there are some very badly mentally adjusted people in the world who don't quite take the death of their interweb spaceship in the way they should. if you have a wife and kids then you might want to think twice before putting yourself "out there" with strong opinions. A former colleague once wrote an entirely innocent technical white paper on a interweb site and was getting death threats of some nut job at 3 in the morning who took exception to his thesis. Imagine what some of the emo-ragers on here are capable of.
but you have gankbears support if you run. just make sure you table the view that we would like to:
1: be able to declare war on NPC corps (Why should they be the only players in Eve with a complete immunity to war??? 2: be able to declare war on Concord. Even grand theft auto lets you murder the entire police force when they turn up. 3: be able to bring in supercaps to Empire as a invading force against both of the first under a proper declared war act. 4: proper insurance for T2 ships/modules. people might not mind pew-pewing expensive shiny if they got more money back. 5: made tears an officially tradeable commodity. i.e kill a carebear and loot 20 tears from their wreck. 40 if they smack you in local. thats probably never going to get past marketing but would be a nice to have 6: rehabilitation of offenders through bribery. bung the chief of concord 5M isk for a criminal status reset.
7: terrorist mechanics: We should be able to stealth wardec corps under a (more expensive but with some sort of criminal penalty) terrorist wardec. No more people jumping corps, macros escaping - get a terrorist "license" and you are free to smartbomb and assasinate hisec residents at will. but maybe with some sort of anti-terrorist concord response that is doubly hard but killable.
8: random NPC convoys that only pirates can attack. carebears can rat at will for isk, but for us, well its like killing our brothers in arms, we need more RP themed content to attack for isk when we are bored.
Also:
Pirate LP missions
No carebear PVE jobs tho - lets have sanshas, ristas et all send you on a quest to kill say 5 player frigates in a certain system.
Pirate LP missions # 2
Poor old NPCs been gettin griefed off carebears for years. even with 80 odd force they still get pwned by some noob in a raven. time to give them a hand, Pirate players should be notified of Carebear missions so they can side with the NPC's - this would stop Missions being a pure PVE isk earner and bring some much needed risk. CCP wants more PVP - well faction warfare #2 carebears vs pirates + pirate NPCS. they might actually have to bring a friend god forbid.
Pirate LP's.
Pirates should get lovin too. Carebears get plenty of mission hawt loot and faction goodies. if you are pirategoodness you should be rewarded with mucho LP for pirate faction toys when you carry out above piracy missions
just some random ideas but there is plenty CCP could be doing instead of making concord comfort blankets for the risk averse.

Now those are some very interesting ideas. Would they get immediately shot down by the carebear hordes though- the idea of people being able to legally enter thier mission and kill them would horrify a large proportion of subscribers I don't want to set the world on fire |

well maybe it will never get passed in pure ninja invade your mission mode, but if they package it and appeal to their base instinct - greed.
if you level things up a bit and give them a NPC force as well i.e player pirates + sanshas, guristas etc versus carebears + caldari Navy, gallante etc. then offer much higher LP's, bounties and mission rewards.
Players get the bounties per NPC killed, a much higher bounty per player killed (maybe like 25M or something for a BS) and whoever "wins" the mission by killing the opposing force gets the LPs, mission reward and success from their respective faction (pirate/carebear).
Make it 10x the reward for PVE to counter ship losses and remove LP's from PVE to make it so you can only get faction ships like nightmares, CNR's and so on by doing "PVP" missions.
They could maybe appease the masses by starting it FW in lowsec as a way to fix lowsec, then nerf hisec mission running once people get used to it so the only way to make proper isk is running PVP NPC missions.
it would make fitting more balanced for both sides, pirates have to tank for the NPC aggro of the opposing side, carebears have to tank for the aggro of other players - both sides have to eventually kill the other player to get the big prize, carebears cant cry its not fair since you start of on a equal foot i.e usual jumpgate restrictions on ship classes so its all down to battle of skills/fitting different race ships which is "balanced PVP". that way we get some nice NPC-iskies plus carebear tears.
Im sure CCP could package it all up as new Piracy themed expansion. "Eve: Pirates Gold!"

Empire dwelling Mission Runners don't want risk, lief of all from other players. Sorry i mean 'least' of all there.
Most of them just want to grind level 4's and chat to corpmates, and i think we would all be surprised (or not as the situation likely warrants ) to discover just how many of the carebears running lvl 4's in empire are the alts of nullsec dwellers and evil blinkys- for whom having a MR alt is a smart move that nets them a solid and dependable income.
CCP aren't going to intentionally **** off most of the subscribers by changing Highsec Missions drastically.
The best way to see changes like those you proposed through is to cloak them in the guise of making missions more dynamic and exciting- as not even the most jaded isk machine actually enjoys the missions themselves.
(i cant help but think the guys that live in npc corps for years at a time talking to no-one are either borderline insane or some sweatshop afk missioning with a bank of pc's ) I don't want to set the world on fire |

well even if none of my ideas ever make the light of day due to carebear outrage,
the very least CCP should do is close the noob corp anomaly.
maybe this:
new players join State War Acadamy, Pator Tech or whatever. They can stay in Noob corp for 3 Months max.
At the end of 3 months if they dont choose a corp they are automatically transferred into a noob corp eg caldari provisions.
Any player corp can wardec a NPC corp such as caldari provisions, removing the anomaly whereby people can sit in noob corps for 3 years avoiding wardecs altogether.
This protects Noobs for a set period to allow them to develop enough PVP skills to have a reasonable chance, whilst removing protection for the armada of macroers/isk farmers/pure carebears/alts.
Even though the carebear outrage would probably be huge and flood Holland from a sea of tears, CCP can point out they are merely realigning all empire players into the same risk level as player corp members.
profit?

Obviously rules would be involved -- no BS's in Level 1 missions, as an extreme example -- but this would be a good element. Age and Experience levels would also have to be taken into account, of course, so we missioners have a chance still. But I really like this idea, it would hopefully get us used to your ways so we don't whine "OMG UNFAIRZ" so loud.

Well in regards to Lvl 4 missions, you do not necessarily have to move the agents to low sec, just make the missions require a person to go into low-sec.
I.e Sivala with its lvl 4 agaent with a ton of isk farmers in navy ravens and golems. I bet just about every single one of those goes to a high sec system to do those missions despite there being a low-sec system next door to Sivala.

For every good idea, there are a host of people who shout, "OMG YES!" and a host of people who cry, "OMG UNFAIR!" The trick is to position all good ideas in such a manner that the "yes" votes outweigh the "no". If you can get those who would normally vote against you on your side, you have a good chance of beating the odds.

Getting people into lowsec/nullsec is an argument that's been going on for years - and personally, I don't understand why the Carebear Community has been so against it for so long. I've been in their Missions, watching hugely overpowered ships fighting, and these would very likely be good against anyone who attempted to take them on in lowsec/nullsec.
If I ran Missions (which I won't) I wouldn't have any issue with exploring the lowsec/nullsec zones in a properly fit ship - Mission Runners shouldn't be exempt from "Rule One - only fly what you can afford to lose".
Please, let's have no more "EvE Offline", where Mission Runners can effectively AFK their Missions.
