You're just having a bad trip, mate.
IE7 has a bad rep as recreational drug. I suggest using FF. |

Don't spread nonsense, there's nothing wrong with IE7 as a browser.
No idea why you're having these problems, they seem to work for me (using IE as well) although the EVE site is known to have it's problems. |

Ya, but those problems get much worse when using IE7.
Fortunately my work doesn't have that installed, and I do most of my whorum foring from work. |

Wrong. It may work, but that does not mean that it is good. It is designed with the standard Microsoft philosophy of: "Let's keep removing features and adding annoying messages until it is so simple even your pets can use it."
The fact is it lacks a lot of the adaptability and compatibility of FireFox, while bombarding you with annoying messages such as: "You've opened a new tab!!!!!!" (yes I know), and "Your settings put your computer at risk, let us fix them for you!!!" (No, it's that way for a reason, and I don't need Microsoft telling me how to configure my computer).
Not to mention the fact that they have completely removed all normal menus, opting instead for a counter-intuitive and frankly horrible user interface (again, designed for use by premature babies).
In conclusion, IE sucks, get FireFox!

We're not talking about an indepth personal review on a certain browser, this is about wether it makes a difference in the situation the OP described.

I think I know which program is best (at least for me). As soon as I installed Firefox, I could access those pages again.

Hi, this should be fixed now.
Using more than one browser and regularly clearing your web cache can solve a lot of problems that occur on the forums.
