Have Gravimetric sites in low-sec contain every type of ore except mercoxit, and a lot of the +10% yield kind.
And lower all refineries in Low Sec to 35%. Or lower.
Now that would be cool.
NOTE: If you want the Gravimetric sites to contain "unstable asteroids" that yield +20% and periodical blow up if mined, that would be good to. It would also be fun if they blew up if someone, for example, shot them with a laser. Not that I can think of any reason why someone would want to do that.
But they shouldn't set each other off, because that could lead to excessive griefing. |

If quantities were limited, that might be worth pursuing.
I personally think that some raw materials should only be available in Low Sec.
The idea of blowing up asteroids, to prevent adversaries from acquiring those raw materials cheaply as a way to wage economic warfare is highly entertaining. If that extended to High Sec it could be the impetus for more mining corp vs mining corp warfare. When I check troll in the dictionary, it has a photo shopped picture of you standing somewhere in the vicinity of a point.
Also, I can kill you with my brain. |

In your dreams. Mining corps that don't have PVP divisions wouldn't even consider that. Things are only impossible until they are not. |

inb4 people refine at a POS instead and get a 25% loss over the stations much larger loss.
Oh, and gods forbid they haul the ore out to empire and refine it there! |

I don't see how this would be competitive with mining ABC in wormhole gravimetric sites. My killboard - http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=player&name=Kessiaan |

outstanding idea. there should be a reason for folks to mine in low sec. there's certainly a risk that deserves a reward.
