During a mining op, the people who haul ore to the station, how do they haul it for someone else?
I realize that they come pick it up from the container floating in space...but where do they take it, and how do they get it to you later?
I guess what i'm asking is...how does it exchange hands between the miner and hauler at the station. He cant just drop the ore into my hangar at the local NPC station _____________________ *warp drive acti...wait, where are we going?*

i wasnt sure if Eve has some sort of system integrated into specifically it for hauling other peoples stuff, or if you just have to find your own ways of doing it. _____________________ *warp drive acti...wait, where are we going?*

There's a plethora of ways to do it, but this is not the appropriate forum to ask questions. This is the events planning forum.

Well then I have to ask, when are you hosting this mining op? And where? Will there be some sort of competition involved?

The Events forum is for preparing things like LAN parties or competitions. If we go by your definition everything that happens in EVE would be an event.

Actually, if: 1) your in the same corp, b) he's a director, c) your corp has an office there, he can
But.. The simpelest way? In the guest tab in the station. Right-click the other guy and open a trade. |

First highonpop; do not tell anyone on the forms where you are going to do you mining ops. Since if you are using jet cans, I am sure you will a bunch of those loser 'can flippers' and ore thieves coming by to visit you during the op.
The way I normally do it is get a bunch of station containers, put each person's name on one and then when you haul back to the station you dump it in their container. Then when everyone is back at the station you can just open the container and trade it to them.
This works if you normally mine around the same area's and use the same station of course. King of the puffy tail

Damn... and I was always just paying them "fair" rates for the ore and pocketing the profit myself...

For a multi-person mining op, wouldn't you just aggregate it all, have the best refiner refine it, then split evenly, either before or after sale?

You would certainly want to aggregate it and have the best refiner do the refining, but what happens after that varies. Some people I've heard about split the minerals. Some people have the corporation buy each person's share at a set rate. Some people put all the minerals into production and then split the profits from the sale of the manufactured goods with those who helped gather materials. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

station warehouses renamed after each person. store their ore in that when offloading to keep em separate. or write it down on a piece of paper or notepad then meet up at station after OP and trade or do a corp contract to them.
