Probably been asked allot but after 40 pages searching to this forum manually (no search option found) my eyes got tired.
Anyone have a good overview of the max cargo you can get in a hauler. I pretty new to the game and don't know all the modules that are available.

The Iteron MK V is one of or the best hauler in the game. With named modules and the right skills it can reach about 30000m3.

With an Iteron V, fitted out with expanders that are worth more than a Level-1 Battleship, you can carry 8 giant secure containers holding a total of 31,200m3 cargo, with the left over space in the hold it is up over 32,000m3.
This fitting is only good for hauling ore, or bulk commodities.
The strait cargo hold size without the giant containers is just over 25,000m3 and can carry most frigates.

The Mrk V does have the best cargo room. with the best expanders it can reach around 26k only, no single indy can carry more then a jetty can and i do believe that they nerfed the ability to have items inside the giant can while carrying them in hold, pls correct me if i am wrong.

You are wrong. A properly fitted MK 5 can empty a full jet can with no problems. And I'm 99% sure that you can stuff in a Can if you have it your hold. What I;m not sure about is if you can put stuff in a can thats in your hold. IE using gaint cans to do an ore pick up....

Sure can hold secure containers in your hauler that are holding stuff. theyd have to orse when your transporting a can with stuff say ammo and u dropped it in space say it was a giant can and u had 2000m3 of ammo u would use up 5000m3 of space coz u couldnt put the ammo in it. but you can so u use 3000m3.

On the other hand, you do need to train your indy skill up to level five to fly an iteron V. If you are new to the game you might want to consider training minmatar indy to level four instead and flying a mammoth. Its not as big, but with nice expanders it can go up to ~16k, higher with the absolute best ones. It would save you about a month of training time over an iteron V. Your call tho, Iteron V _is_ the ultimate in hauling. -- We are the Octavian Vanguard www.octavianvanguard.net http://www.serenitymovie.com |

ok, thanks. I'm going for iteron 5 when I have some spare time to train my indy skill.
searched for some cargo expanders in the escrow and found a "27.44% Local hull cargo extender I" but they are really expensive (20M). Is there a "basic cargo extender II" available? Or even a BP for it? or is it all about finding.
