Hey all,
I recently jumped off from trial status, but have been plagued with these continuing graphics errors that make completing missions very frustrating. I've had an issue with at least 10 missions--and about 4 of them I did get 'stuck'.
Has anybody else run into this? What should I do? What do I CALL it? :)
The space in which most of the mission takes place is filled with orange-like blocks: they act like solid walls. The NPC and I can't move or hit each other. Warping out frees me. When I warped back in, its the same.
A total mood killer
I had one instance of it 3 days into the trial, and now have had some sort of issue every couple of hours. I've submitted bug reports, and all the petitions have resulted in (so far) is the GM resetting the mission or flagging it completed for me.
My specs: Macbook Pro Penryn, 2.4ghz, 4GB Ram. Problem has occurred on all releases of QR. (Note screenshots were taken by hitting cmd-enter first: i couldn't find a way to change the screenshot shortcut. I did a fresh restart each time just to make sure that wasn't causing it)
Thanks.
(Very zoomed out)

I know it says for station interior bugs, but try it anyway. Do you have an ATI video card? You can check under the system profiler (Apple logo -> about this mac -> more info...) under Hardware -> Graphics/Displays.

Thanks. No ATI, I have the Nvidia 8600M GT w/ 256MB.

Yes I have these problems as will on my iMac, 3.0GHz, nVidia card. I have found that one way to fix it is to open the advanced graphics settings and toggle either the color depth or the z-buffer options. Usually i can get this to fix the transparency issues, but sometimes it does lock up the machine.
Weird, and very annoying behavior, particularly in missions.
