Anti aliasing does not work in Eve when I use Nhancer. I even tried renaming the Eve client to oblivion.exe and use the oblivion compatibility in nhancer. I also tried Rivatuner and Nvidia control panel. I've tried just about every method talked about on the forums and still no dice. Can I please get a dev response, these jagged edges are driving me crazy. How much work would it take just to make an ingame option? GPU: 8800gts 512

Some nice "answers" here. Guy asks a question and people post their opinions....Anyway.
I haven't tried getting AA to work in eve, but try turning off HDR. Some graphic engines just don't support AA at all, and a lot of the time HDR and AA at the same time is not possible depending on how it was programmed.
If all else fails, I guess you could try increasing your resolution until the jaggies go away?

Check this thread for more info on how to get AA running with nHancer. Also remember that AA does not work in a windowed mode.

Hey, thanks for the feedback, I'm running 1920x1200 res and thats the higest res my 28" monitor supports. Also I tried the "turn hdr off" method and still no dice. Edit: Also I always run my Eve client in full screen.

Since there`s no option for that in the graphics menu, it`s very unlikely that devs will help on this one...
But fyi, i could force AA just using the Nvidia software. (had to turn hdr off tho)

I think its time CCP looks at the issue. We know its plossible (done in other games and can be forced on EVE as well).
So, maybe its time for CCP to have a chat with nvidia and ati. At least they seemed pretty close with nvidia at fanfest.

Go to your nVidia control panel -> 3d settings -> manage 3d settings -> click on the program settings tab -> uncheck show only programs found on this computer. Find EVE-Online in the massive list, set the AA you want, and click on apply.
Make sure HDR is off as well. -------------------------

Already tried that no dice. CCP get together with Nvidia and go wild. Eve gfx look great but theirs always room for improvement. Edit: Don't forget the ATI users (srry I'm an Nvidia fan)

Use Nhancer for AA. If it isn't working, you are doing it wrong. Reread the thread linked and follow the instuctions. Make sure to use the settings shown and don't try to click stuff that is not indicated.
To the guy who said why would you use Nhancer, and that premium graphics look fine without AA, you are an idiot. Premium graphics look like crap with all the jagged edges unless you use Nhancer.

Ahh .. thank you for that morsel of info Kyoko, been scratching my head for a while on why it kept locking in windowed mode with AA on. |
