Has anyone else had bad problems getting points on ships without a HICtor or frigate.
Everything seems to align much faster than usual, and this coupled with lag makes it really hard to catch ships.. like even with a battleship vs. battleship, or BC vs battleship.
Yes? No? I just suck?

Yes, no, you suck and I suck too also CCP messed with Agility of the ships AFAIK. Patchnotes ftw. ------------------ Recruiting..

Kinda funny cause destroyers seem to turn slower than cruisers now.
And they never drop good modules :( ______________________________________

This has been very noticeable since the patch. Sensor boosted BS unable to lock a BS, dual sensor boosted BC unable to lock cruisers. Some of it is the faster align times post patch some is the annoying the warp is interfering bug which can stop you even starting to lock a ship.
Been a couple of times we though we were about to have a great fight only to have all the opposing BS's warp off without us being able to lock anything. We are adjusting but it sucks given the mid slots crunch in the age of the Falcon.

Everything is more agile. Cruisers warp much faster than before and you do need a sensor boosted HIC/Lach to have a reasonable chance of catching smaller stuff. Also, you have the super sweet new gates, which are friggin' HUGE and will put you our of point range on most jump ins.

i think the only thing capable of catching anyone at a gate these days is a Double faction sensor boosted raptor, with remote sensor boosters in gangs.. however.. GL tanking gateguns in that.
On a serious note.. make it possible to catch things? =0 dont know if its just me or what.. but "going in hot" with my web/scrams only causes the scram to just flash at me and not turn on.. missed several ships due to that i.e BC's getting away from a Sensor boosted Cruiser due to awful bugs with the UI.. =\

i missed a battleship with my own with 2 meta 4 remote sensor boosters... although somehow i beat him to his next gate and caught on the other side...

Pfft.. tag-team of lachesis with sensorbooster and rapier does the job quite fine for anything over frig-size.
Frigs still need to be caught in bubbles, and even pre-QR it was almost impossible to catch them when they went back for the gate.

The quick align times are fine and I appreciate that we don't catch everyone - if it is too easy it gets boring after all. Not getting a point on a cruiser is not that much of a problem if you have some juicy freighters to compensate
Generally I like the changes that QR brought. The frigate class became useful again!

Would not say it was Agility fitted. It was both after jumping behind it, to catch it on the other side, might be possible under perfect conditions, but fails with the common lag\Module lag in general EvE gameplay. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank!

yes I've noticed cruisers can warp into a belt and warp off before I can pin them down with maxed targetting skills, same while flying a hictor, stuff just warps too fast, its pretty annoying tbh stuff shouldnt warp that quick at all, CCP make stuff less agile!

Same issue here. I've never had issue locking another cruiser. Now it's happening consistently. If that's the intention of CCP, then it's time to adapt. However if not, that **** needs to get fixed.

Sensor boosted hics. Sorry but its really the only way to catch anything in low sec it seems.

I belive the intention was that interceptors and other frigates are the key to pining down a target. Larger ships provide other roles unless specialised in tackling.
Group focus and teamwork are key with ships performing their inteded role. A Battleship is never intended to be used for tackling.
Frigates are tacklers that grab and hold the target down Crusiers fulfill a myriad or roles from Damage, Logistics, ECM and other specialist areas Battelcrusiers are better damage dealers then crusiers, not good for tackling, have better survivability and also specialise in Leadership bonuses. Battleships are the damage dealers, slow to tackle anything but when a gang member in the frigate catches a target like a crusier or larger, the battleship deals the damage.

That's all well and good, but what about the solo pirate? What we're saying is that it's possible, with a lare and diverse gang, to catch most things in low sec, be it on a gate or station, in deadspace, in a belt, whatever. But that small gang and solo PvP is becoming harder given the relative ease or ships warping out now as compared to pre-patch.
