Sharpshooter, maybe. Long range targeting. I have also heard that you can use the SmartBombs when they get within the range of the smartbombs of 2000 m. They do about 20dmg and the light missiles only have like 10 hps.

Nothing...

It all depends on range to missile and your target lock speed.
Lets say you have a 4 sec lock time, and a missile travels 1,000m/s. you need to stay at least 8-12km away to have time to lock and destroy the missile.

Skills help as they can speed up your lock speed.

motion prediction, since it helps turret tracking [you should have that skill anyawy, to hit missiles and ships :) ]

smartbombs are easier but limited in their use
the bigger the smartbobm the easier itll be, as it has more range, but it also uses more cap, cpu and power

smartbombs are great against npc and unskilful missiles users, as they just send em on "autorepeat", in volleys, where a skilfull user will send a continuous line of missiles, which u cant all shoot... good thing turrets do alot more dmg than missiles :P
