Edited by: Eddie Gordo on 14/07/2004 11:16:51 After many months spent away from my home systems in molden heath terrorising "innocent" amarrians and amarr loyalists in the aridia region, I returned to hrober. I was barely given the chance to unpack when Kular of Dark Sereph showed up on a local scan.
I quickly kitted up and scrambled my mighty battleship, "PFS Ritual Sin" and headed to the hrokkur gate. To my suprise a further 5 interceptors, frigates & 1 cruiser jumped through the gate, all members of pie. "Is this the end" I thought to myself as I deployed my drones and went to work. I called for my brothers Nate and Tallerico Gordo, but they were too late. Upon their arrival they were greeted by a collection of debris, not of my falen ship but of scattered amarrian compenents.
Such tactics will not work on me, I am Eddie gordo & I am back

Welcome back Eddie, a fighter of your calibre has been sorely missed.
I too encountered PIE last night, although not with the same odds as you. A one on one, with a Typhoon class battle ship verses the pride of the Imperial fleet, the mighty Apocalypse
A, well mannered, fight ensued and at one point PFS Warspite took some heavy damage in a very short space of time. But PFS Warspite's armourers prevailed and had given good advise as to the required combat load out to defeat this mighty foe. The Apocalypse was force to flee the battlefield.
ooc: Thanks to the PIE pilot for the encounter, really enjoyed that! ---------------------------------------------
If I should die, think only this of me: That there's some corner of a foreign field That is for ever England. |

Teonosude system Imperial province of Minmatar TES Witch Hammer, Crusader class
*static dances across the screen*
Welcome back then Eddie, my apologies for not holding the return party you so righteously deserve! A podkill.
I will confirm the losses of 2 PIE Interceptors to your drone swarm, a harsh lesson learned for those who were taken down, but also a valuable one.
I would not speak of beating the odds too much though, with no ECM being deployed, and a frigate force of 6 taking on a Typhoon class without hesitation, nor preparation. As we jumped into Hrober, your appearance by the gate was as much a surprise for us as our must have been to you.
I instead commend the heroics of the Inquistion pilots, who died while following orders, showing true Zeal and Dedication.
Still...
Welcome back to the grinder, Eddie. ----------------------------------------------

Hrober system Peoples Republic of Minmatar Capitol PFS Ritual Sin, Typhoon Class
** Crystal clear picture** %% My, how Minmatar telecomunications are superiour**
Over the comming weeks and months you will see just how resiliant I can be. That was a mere taste of things to come. While I recognise the odds were not "all that", the rate at which my shields initially dropped was certainly concern. I while I loath everything about you, your race, your corp, and your pilots I cannot help but admire your conviction in battle..
Be seeing you around

Well, if you enter enemy playgrounds and are not kitted out and prepared for the worst, then you deserve to die. I cannot see PIE doing this but anyway, you still deserved to die
Well done Eddie.

No arguing this, Scaramouche. The responsibility, at the end of the day, lies at my feet, and my feet alone.
Tactical decisions are often based simply on the 'feel' of the moment, or as some would say, the madness of an eyeblink.
Trust me, dog, I will not get off after this without a whip from 'above' ;) ----------------------------------------------

Another teenage Minmatar trash talker makes his return.
*Sighs*
So what your story said was pretty much that you engaged the enemy with your 80million worth of combat power against their combined total between 5 FRIGATES of 35 million. What a brave man...pft
Maybe when you actually pull something difficult off, something that requires more skill than deploying drones, you can have some room to talk. What you did was nothing special. I hope to see you in space soon. Russo - CEO Amarria Auxilia Your friendly neighborhood badass

oh eddie eddie, the past is coming for you, and you will have to deal with it... you see, i dont easily forget...
to refresh your memory...
"...long long time ago, in a system far far away from any heavy populated systems there was a system called "Altbrard". in this rich and dead end system, the newly promoted Admiral IceBlock were happily mining with hes good friend Dolemite2K. Little did they know, when a Tempest Class Warship warped into the belt and wrecked Admiral IceBlocks Badger into thousand parts..."
your time is short.....
