So I'm back from what military experts are calling a lolforum ban, but more on that in a sec. I've got a bigger and more legitimate grievance to air. The inimitable salvage vessel known as the Eris-class Interdictor is STILL off-center on the screen. This was a problem first encountered after the launch of EA version 1.1 and "documented" in this thread. All module effects continue to occur from the center of the screen but the ship itself sits above the graphic origin of the effects. After the launch of QR this problem remains. All-new screenshot documentation follows:
Hurr Shield Hardener Hurr Tractor Beam
I have two suggestions for fixes to this problem. The first is simple: undo whatever you did to cause the issue in the first place. The other suggestion is full of more win: make the Catalyst and Eris FREAKIN VERTICAL. It's a well-known scientific fact that being freakin vertical decreases a ship's suck factor by a not-insignificant margin. It would also hide the fact that module effects don't currently originate at the center of the Eris what with it being, as I said, off-center.
To visualize a freakin vertical Catalyst/Eris, see the following: Main engine on top Distal crew compartment on top So there.
Lastly, the lesson I learned over the past two weeks is the following: Don't ever question the mortality of Eve GM's as they are, in fact, immortal. If you managed to catch the thread in question before it got mod edited you know what I mean. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE TBH.
Oh, I considered coming back with a fake emoragequit thread but opted against it since this injustice with the Eris is still around.

I don't know if you're attempting to troll and failing at it, or you're just a really horrible poster. But I think it is some sort of ridiculous combination of the two.

Minor model tweaking may be needed. Obviously the screenshots are from the Classic client. Not sure if the same issue is occurring in Premium.

In space with a fake gravity, it doesn't matter if you're flying upside down or straight to hell, everything looks the same

Probably got misled by everyone here saying how much they love Eris. The OP thought they were talking about the ship.

I loled at your screenshots but vertical ships suck hard, myrmiddon for instance, sometimes it just doesnt feel like warping and takes longer than a BS to do so.... particularly if its moving before hand

Myrm is full of WinPwnÖ
I find it actually aligns pretty fast TBH. Can't speak for the other two freakin' vertical ships but Myrm is fine
Also, 1000% supported. Nothin' like flyin' vertical to start your day

Do not WTB green whiskey w/ syrupy-looking consistency tbh.
Anyway all lightheartedness aside the Eris really is off-center in the Classic Client and has been for months. AFAIK it's the only such ship suffering from this issue and while I'm no programmer it wouldn't seem like it would be a big deal to put it back the way it was and is supposed to be.
Oh yes, and I also want to take this time to say a BIG THANK YOU to CCP for allowing us to disable the module activation timer bars. Those were driving me friggin batty.
