Market data for advanced materials and resources has been erased and/or doctored in multiple regions. This is immediately following massive price increases in those commoditys; notably feroquel.
Dev response as to wth is going on? There was even talk of French toast

Market History itself has been bugged for some time now. This is not new. I've sold things at twice what market history shows and had them never register, several times. This was with random named mods, not moon materials. This says to me that it is far more likely that Market History is just plain bugged than it is that it's being doctored by BOB/RED/MM/Goons/PL/etc. influenced devs.
Besides, what POINT is there to messing with market history? Who would be served by it not registering a massive price spike? It's not like we're going to spell out the name of the perps in the Donchian Channel. -------------------- Originally by: Crumplecorn
I prefer launching bathtubs of antimatter at my opponents over pointing an open DVD player at them, even if the bathtubs do miss a lot. So no.

Market history ignores 'outfliers' - in EVE it means approx 5% lowest transactions and 5% highest transactions.

this - I've maninupulated market history before by selling myself large volumes of items at ever increasing 3% margins, but in major markets this is much harder to do. The history will reflect the ferrogel explosion once averages approach... averages :) _______________ Pwett Founder <Q> QUANT Hegemony

Jesus....Do any of you actually look at the market history before posting?
Go look at the table form (not graphical) market history data for various materials.
Look at the 10th and 11th. Notice those ZEROS for orders and quantity? Notice the low, high and average prices? See anything odd?
Notice that, for example, in the Amarr region, no trit, iso, nox, etc...were sold on the 10th. Not a single unit. Zero. None. Nada.
This is not a "bug." This is not an 'outlier.'
Here is one example.

Most probable cause: CCP reversing sell order of ferrogel and other materials produced through the exploit while they are deleting the material from the market.
It could even be an effect of deleting the still active orders of the exploiters and/or the banning of the characters.
Tinhattery tend to think always there will be some nefarious reason when normal mechanics can explain it.

Yeah what that one said -- either the data went away intentionally or it just isn't being displayed, and there's probably a simple explanation for it. Welcome to relational database design. Nobody is trying to pull our shirts down over our heads or whatever.
Might be interesting to know what happened, though.
