they were good friends, they taught me alot of things and well was a director in there corp and long time trusted member
the question should i feel bad because they think i am ,even though they still don't realize that they are neutral and well it pvp

In short, should you feel bad for shooting ex-corp members?
Ask yourself this, would they, given chance, shoot you and take your pod on a spin in the "Pwnaroonie"?

Your terrible Sherrif, truly terrible - Arn't sherriff's supposed to be nice people? or was that just a fantasy?
AC - I would treat them with respect, but it's EVE. if they get in your way, you tend to have to knock them asside or fold them into your own building juggernaut

hey hey
one of my old corp mates is in Pandemic. I would lock him up and send drones the second he appeared on my overview.
then id most likely send him a PM and laugh about it. I have no doubts that he would do the same.
Most people understand its a game :)

1 thing you should learn very fast is that u shouldnt take things personal in this game. 1 day ur blue the other day ur red. the next day ur blue again aslong there is some respect everyone understands that,

When i left bob and joined mc i thought id be staying on the same side in the war, but got surprised by the anti-bob attitude there, putting me in a kinda awkward situation. In the recruitment process i said when i join mc im 100% behind the corp, and mynas didnt fail putting this to a test sending me to scout poses in period basis before mc set bob red.
Took some soul searching, but in the end it comes down to loyalty, and when you join a corp and its inthe corps best interest to work against ex corpmates you either do so or leave.

EvE is a harsh place to live and the stakes are often very high, that's one of the reasons why many of us like it so much.
You shouldn't feel bad about it, enjoy it as an interesting twist to your characters story :)

well, being the one that got shot. shooting at friends where you can laugh is great. But to jump them with backstabbing style and then steal their POS kill and MODs after we did all the hard work brings out very bad feelings. Specially when you were considered allied at the time.
It is a game after all and we play as we see fit. And as there is quite a bit of realism in the game, there are consequences for our actions and this one for you is a lost connection.
Considering, you were there to help me when i started with buying my first BC. Not sure what to make of this. But to say, there is bad feeling and it is a game does not change the fact we are all people here with emotions and our actions have consquences.

True this is a game and people do go there own way but something you left out is first off you been flying with those people for a long time and second you told us when you left you would never get involved in attacking us directly even if your corp or alliance did. You personal help take our POS kill and personal helped kill our friends. That is why your a back stabbing person. Your action will never be forgotten and as someone that has flown with you for well over a year i am very dis pointed in you.

We've killed people in our corp fairly often in expensive ships.
We say sorry and move on. In fact I've been guilty of pretending not to hear people screaming drones while giggling my head off and watching a corp mate pop.
All is fair in love and war.
My particular favourite was someone testing a brand new Cerberus when they first came out begging someone to shoot at him. The tempy open up with full level 5 skills and blew him clean out of the sky. 200 mill down the drain.

Game <> RL
In RL, you may be friends but in the game, you are mortal enemies. The same thing applies here as it would if you were playing a halflife deathmatch. Would you avoid shooting at them because they are friends in a deathmatch tournament?
I have a friend who lives about half a mile away. I regularly go visit him and chat but in game, we are in two different alliances. If we declared war on the other alliance, it would make sense that in game, he is an enemy and so I would shoot him. That doesn't stop me from going out and having a drink with him later the same evening. For obvious reasons, we both agree that anything other than general chat about eve is out of the question. We do not give information to each other about our alliances etc that the other could use in game.
We both have alts that are not in the respective alliances, they are both in NPC corps and often gang up for a bit of mining or mission running occasionally as well.

HELL no, pod their ass!!!!! Give it to em good! hahah. Actually there was an area me and my corp were in for a year and we worked with some of the other corps out there. We never had any problems.
My corp and me joined RK for some 0.0 action and then later returned to our own corp. a few of our guys wondered out to the old area and decided to take a shot at one of the ceos of a corp we were friendly with. in a way it kinda sucked but after getting an emorage mail from the ceo we decided to go out there and pew pew some of them.
the moral of the story, shoot anyone that is neutral or set to red and don't give a ****! if you were such good friends why did you leave their corp? If your still friends then know its just a game and a chance meeting.

No you should feel bad!!! This game people will POD you before you can blink. Its nothing personal, its just how it goes. They wanna hit your speed trap then thats there own. Its a game, and unless you know these people in real life then they arent your freinds. There people to travel with.
Trust me. If they had the trap set up and you landed in it they would pod you so quick it be like when the doctor slapped your behind after you were born.
Get the thicker skin, or this game will make you miserable. Its a game. Enjoy it.

It's one of those funny ones.
One one hand yes, it's a game and it's just the Internet, it's not real yadda yadda yadda. That being said, you do form real friendships with people (be it in Eve, IRC, some random forum whatever) and that's something to bear in mind.
I'm reasonably new to the game, but I joined my corp when I was a lot newer and people there have helped me, answered dump questions, mined with me, helped me buy ships and generally been decent people, so if the time came to part ways then i'd like to think that people can still be amicable enemies, as that's just how Eve is.
Of course, should I ever come across Xorphix I will have no hesitation in locking his ass and ramming some missiles up his backside.
In fact i'm quite sure he would do the same to me and smile all the way through :)
