Today, it's more of a "why do I have to do this?" line of thinking. You are a drunkard causing a disturbance in a public place? It's ok, police can't touch you unless you attack them or another person or property, if the police taser you or tackles you, you have civil rights groups waiting to attack the police on your behalf. Teachers can't touch you, if they do they lose their job. You are a "special needs" child, enjoy your attention. You can't be fired unless you display gross incompetence or break the law (theft) if you are a minority or woman, you have people willing to fight for your more-then-equal-rights, regardless of if you deserved to be fired or not. Parents can't touch you anymore. Spanking a child is child abuse, punish them too much and you are an unfit parent.
Western Society has gone soft. And this won't change any time soon because no one wants to make changes, we signed our own death warrant when we let bleeding hearts and minorities run the country.

Maybe all the traditional 'tough-exterior' act was just a facade or veil for the lack of any meaningful culture underneath.
Only recently in the information age can the crumbling of your society be seen through something else than the gilded pompous binoculars that your ancient imperialistic elite tried to force upon the world. (Even though the modern media does exaggerate, dont deny that people didnt try to exaggerate [or distort] news even more in the past.)
Ancient empires will always fall, yet us Americans and even those English still havent learnt the lessons of the past.

Reading this thread brings a smile to my face. You people have no idea how happy I am not to be living in a country where every 10 year old is desperately trying to get pregnant, where 14 year olds are dying of AIDS and in which if you haven't had a baby or at least been pregnant three times by the age of 16 you're a social outcast, a country that is a dictatorships (with the leftist party being even more right-wing than the '****'s') and a country that is just as oppressive as Burma, while cloaking itself in pretty colours. Do I miss the UK? OH yes, I miss living in a country poorer than Uganda and just as extreme as Saudi Arabia.
To all those who love living in the UK: enjoy your debts, economic woes and getting beaten up by your kids. Time to play EVE, bye thread.

Although White British is a race if i am not mistaken?
that is who i am referring to,
we are absolutely similar, black white yellow brown etc. the difference in outside appearance like skincolor has various other reasons.. we are totally similar.. probably more similar than some people would want to realize..
where we differ is in culture and attitude.. i personally hate 98% of the worlds culture and attitude and think it's primitive degenerative and just plain annoying and unintelligent, but that's because it's made that way rather than developed naturally, same as most things in our society as it were..
98% of the world are doing it wrong, including the british, with their opposite-just-to-be-british attitude and their idiotic habits, attitude towards people, themselves and "their" queen. and the sooner they realize it and stop defending it, the sooner we can cut the bull**** and build a world worthwhile.
the world contains a bunch of savages and barbarians, idiots who believe in the lie of darwinism which robbed them of the portal to themselves and removed any benevolent future aspirations and replaced it with a fools cyborg dream or having machines to fix things or whatever.. a malfunctioning degenerate civilization of barbarians and thugs who does not even grasp the fundamentals of their own bodies yet proclaim they are nothing but animals.. and uses it as excuse to justify contempt and stupid actions.. they believe in science who has failed this world with its chemical poisons that poisons the body in an attempt to cure it rather than reinforce and allowing the body to clear it by supporting it in its natural processes.. not to mention a lack of morale and understanding in general, breaking the perfect structure of things and replacing it with more problems they try to fix as the rummage around with big words and lofty expectations like an elephant in a glass store.. you cannot create perfect like the maker, stop making a mess of things.
even the universe and galaxy has pre programmed cycles of destruction and creation like the ouroboros eating its own tail which plato alluded to.. and they have interdependence where the sun is the prime controller of a system and where this structure is repeated ad infinitum, a pattern denotes intelligence, the most sublime intelligence of all. that ought to be a clue yet it is not apparent for the religious people nor is it for the unbelievers.
not to mention the religious institutions who wouldn't know themselves or the meaning of the texts they keep if it hit them smack in the face, and are in their absolute stupidity and arrogance partially responsible for people parting from their deluded interpretations and doctrines and accepting idiotic beliefs such as atheism and darwinism instead..
repent of your sins, repent to yourself.. not to some stupid socalled holy man.. forgive yourself through setting things right, and regain your aspirations and the portal to yourself, that is your only salvation.
untill you do you will live your lives and die, build your culture and treat eachother, as the animals you think you are. denying your true aspirations.
stop bickering about "race" you stupid blind idiot, quit being part of the f'ing problem and you might find your salvation from the path to evil.

so instead of being proud of a global culture of mistakes and dead end traditions, standing on your bully pulpits being taking pride in your past mistakes, using them to elevate yourself about others, rather than correcting them.
instead it is time to use the errors of a past as a lesson in how not to do it, and to apply these lessons of what not to do in order to embrace a future of a transformation of a culture without mistakes, without silly monstrous creations, and forming a culture and a society and a civilization with purpose with compassion, with understanding and with peace.
know and recognize that you have been stupid and blind so that you may become bright and see.

Originally by: Arianhod Well you have praised Scotland a few times.
Smart people get paid well.
Housing is expansive here.
But not Aberdeen. I am currently moving away from here, the drink culture that Scotland has earned itself is way out of control here. I've seen more people so drunk that they can't even stand up here on a Friday night than I've seen in the rest of the UK put together on a Friday night. Most of the girls you'll meet here would be too drunk to even know what science is.
There's also a problem with drugs too but it's something that's becoming more common across the UK due to do gooders insisting the government give them free methadone etc. If it were me, I'd lace it with cyanide and get rid of the problem for good.
Also, Aberdeen has the highest Council Tax in the whole of the UK. I have a 2 bed council flat and I pay almost as much in Council Tax as I do in rent per year and it's only a Band A flat.
Smart people work offshore here so they can avoid paying tax, they don't get paid particularly well, they just pay far less tax.
Where in the UK is any housing not expensive? Forget first time buying if you're on minimum wage now, you might just be able to afford someone's garden shed with your partners wage added to yours.
Don't get me wrong. Scotland is a really beautiful place providing you don't mind the cold. I love the countryside and scenery, it's breathtaking. While I had the car, I used to love driving up North to my friends in Inverurie or even Buckie just to look at the scenery on the way. But just like the rest of the UK, it's just too damned expensive to live here and much like the rest of the UK, the wages for my job (security) don't cut it and to do enough hours to make it possible to live on my wage means absolutely no life.
I'm off back down south after the new year. The wages are still bad, the prices are still high but at least I can save a bit by not having to keep the heating on all year round. I have not turned it off since I moved to this flat in January. If I could earn 50% more, I would be able to live here permanently but not on my present wage.

Yes i am because there are a lot worse off places you could live. I enjoy living in the UK, things that people complain about in this thread have not ever effected me (the joys of london). All i see are a lot of drama queens in here, instead of *****ing about it why dont u get involved in politics and try and make a difference huh?.
Every country in Europe and the Western world sufferes from major problems, gun crime, racial tensions etc, you will find this out once you actually go to live somewhere else, the only reason people leave the UK are A) their filthy tax dodgers ( who still like to use the NHS and everything else the normal man pays for), or B) want warmer weather.
Children have always smoked or drank underage, people have always got overly drunk, its just more covered now because of zelot groups and it was media flavour of the month, now as in the case of stabbings and gun crime ( new media fav, wont be long before they move on) this has been going on for ages, no one knew because the media did not care.

There is a reason why house prices are higher in the south. Most of Sussex, Kent, etc are great. Hampshire admittedly, a little so-so. Dorset, Devon and Cornwall? Wonderful. Housing is expensive, yes, but...
