I a paying customer say we must ballance logistic ships, and any ship that can spider rep or at least make it harder for gangs of less ships to out dps and out tank a nice sized fleet. i have been observing fights recently and setting up ships with logistics or spider tanking ability is kind of like hitting the I WIN BUTTON. it is by far way too un-balanced and this should be evened out to make the game a bit more playable and enjoyable for ever all of us.

Tactics beat no tactics. Just because your gang isn't smart enough to fit RR and not use Logistics doesn't mean they need to be nerfed.
also, 1st!

I suggest your nice sized fleet bring along a few Gallente, Caldari, or Amarr EW ships. All of these can reduce the effectiveness of any logistical ship by either 1) reducing its locking range and/or time, 2) jamming it, making it unable to rep/transfer, or 3) draining its capacitor. The first one is likely the least effective, but forces your opponents to either run really compact squadrons (as in <20km between any pure logistical ship and an potential recipient, jumping through a gate causes problems!) or when combined with ECM can result in lock times longer than 20 s, making a single missed jam not a problem.
Yes Minmatar ships do not have a specific paper to this particular rock, however Minmatar have ways of increasing their overall damage to the enemy or simply making a tactical withdrawal or attempting to spread the enemy out.
I suggest you look at your full set of tools before whining.

I totally agree with Dex and Mikeli. If you choose not to use any remote reps or logistics in your gang - it's your loss - not people smart enough to use it. Also, it's NOT overpowered in any way. Few neuts/ew can ruin even most efficent logistic gang if used correctly.

a fleet organised enough to field a bunch of specialised, toothless ships deserves to have the upper hand in my opinion

I knew a fleet commander that had this problem... After losing near 30 ships (ranging from cruisers to battleships), I lightly interrupted his major rant in the alliance chat and told him to get all those that could fly caldari Cruisers, to fly Blackbirds.
After 2 hours of smacking my idea around, and beating the snot out of it... He lost 9 more battleships, got mad and tried it with 1 Blackbird. The results were crippling to say the least. Before it died to a hail of drones, it helped kill 2 battleships on the enemy fleet.
Ironically... The same FC never went back to using blackbirds, and would rather have all tacklers and DPS glasscannon style ships. Needless to say, my corp did like the alliance, though they did have a few... annoying idividuals... so respect at the alliance I'm talking about (You know who you are ). ______________________________________
