I've decided to give the Gallente COSMOS agents a try. But I have some questions I'd like answered first:
1 - How powerful a combat ship am I likely to need there ? I'm going to be taking along an assault frigate, so I'd just like to know if I'll need something bigger for any of the missions.
2 - How accurate is this list at listing all the agents there ? If that list isn't accurate, does anyone know of a better one ?
3 - Some of the missions are mining missions. Do I have to mine the ore myself, or can I just buy it from the market ?
4 - Are there any skills I need to train up before taking the missions ? ---------------------------------------------- I support skill queues |

2. Meh, just do them. It is much more fun that way.
3. I do not recall doing any mining in any COSMOS, but things may have changed.
4. Archaeology and Hacking (both lvl 3) are recommended for any COSMOS constellation.
I also suggest that you keep your Thukker standings up (if they aren't already shot to hell), as there are quite a few of their agents in Gall COSMOS. Oh, and there are a couple "hidden" agents in Gall COSMOS, which you will need to probe-out, find someone with a BM, or just jump around to all the planets/moons to find.
Furthermore, local is your best friend in COSMOS. Most people in COSMOS are eager to help, so just ask if you get stuck. But do be wary of the farmers who may be looking to snag that important drop from your mission. Bottom line, bring/make a friend.

Loaby, nice guide, even if I do have to rely on a computer translation.

Looks like I'll have to bring my BS in then.

Looking through the guide and contracts, I saw that I can buy the items requiring those skills from the market cheaper than buying the skill books. Or do I have to get them myself ? ---------------------------------------------- I support skill queues |

Anything you might need to get from a hacking or arch plex you can probably find on contracts, yes. Again, that takes much of the fun out of it, though. ;)

AF will do fine for everything - if you are ratting in Deltole, the Skeleton Comet - Drone - Serpentis Survey complex allows BCs/Command ships.
The Hidden Path mission (either from a moon or from the agent at the Colelie gate, both in Deltole) is not deadspace, so you can grab a BM at the end to come back with a BS if you feel it to be necessary.
I have to recommend acquiring mission items before taking the mission. Whether through contracts or just going and blowing things up to loot beforehand is up to you.
In particular, if your chosen ship cannot manage 1k DPS (kin/therm) while double web/scrambled and fitting a codebreaker, be cautious about the left hand side of the Serpentis Survey Site, which you will need to hack to get something... a Threaded Waypoint Map, maybe? Anyway, almost certainly easier to pay what the thing costs on the market. --- Some days you are the pigeon, and some the statue. |

Ok, this is odd.
I got a few BPCs from the missions. When I try to search for them on contracts for a price check, I entered part of their name. The chose item box only showed the module I could create as a valid item, not the blueprint.
What is going on here ? ---------------------------------------------- I support skill queues |

CCP is lazy and can only add a few COSMOS items to those pick-lists per year. Come 2015, they might actually finish.

Eve Odessa is accurate. Of course some things are random, but that is great guide.
Get cruiser, hauler and BC or HAC there and you will be fine.
