Don't BPs always show as BPOs on killboards?
Regardless, hey Tchell do you allow other corps to join TEARS to partake in these wardecs?

Do BPOs and BPCs not appear differently?

I'll need you to ask that question 'in-game', so that we don't scare off our friendly combatants, here.

If i had killed your Orca (assuming you were to get an orca :p) i would be doing exactly the same thing..
I'm enjoying it so far.. would like to see more open cruiser/battlecruiser/battleship engagements.. but understand you guys would be abit stupid to do that with your numbers.. do you guys normally get more numbers around the weekend?
Anyway.. let the blood of the ninja run like a river ;)

Heh. Believe me, we have Orcas. The difference is, we're not undocking with them during Wartime.

I thought we were doing pretty darn good with the 2:1/3:1 Coalition/Ninja ratio we're managing... Not really much need to call in all the dogs. Yet.

Once I get our KB updated (damn QR updates) I should be able to post it up to give you the skinny on the percentages.

Hey, count yorself lucky that we even fight 2:1 3:1 odds and further leap joyfully into your traps. I'll say it plainly, anyone that has been in SN more than a week should be able to avoid your camp at m20 indefinitely- if they cant its a fault on thier part. Anyone you catch wants to be caught, knows that he will be outnumbered but does it anyway- we are having fun.
Equally, we still have our probers and salvagers out- fear not citizens of Dodixe, normal service has not been impaired by this conflict. Suddenly Ninjas: Fightng for you freedom, from the tyranny of Mission Running
Quote: would like to see more open cruiser/battlecruiser/battleship engagements
Hint: Stop refusing to fight without at least five others at your back, or 2:1 odds and solo roam.
Last night we warped 4 frigates onto three of your cruisers sitting at the M20 undock. They docked as soon as we came out of warp and didn't undock until the rest of the 9 people you had in local arrived. That isn't docking to avoid utter annihilation, that's people not wanting to take any risks.
Similarly, i have engaged one of your dessie pilots in a rifter (in jel if i remember correctly), only to have him dock and undock only when an Ishtar warped in on top of me. If i find a lone WT of yours in system, i can depend on several others turning up within five minutes.
If some of your pilots showed a little more confidence in their abilities (hell last night i was even giving advice to some of you) and in themselves then they would have better fights and i think would find they are having more fun. I think that's something everyone can agree should be striven for.

Heh. In before "POST WITH YOUR MAIN"! And now, more from a personal convo with one of our Members...
Quote: Coalition Pilot > so you guys not wining the war... are contractin merc's.... Coalition Pilot > lol is funny so this way you huys are paying 2 times.... Coalition Pilot > paying ccp.... and paying the merc's.... that's a smart move... Coalition Pilot > LOL
For the record: We do not currently, nor have we ever, paid Mercenary Corporations for their Services. Any assistance that we have had were from Allies, those Corporations who are friendly to the Tear Extraction And Reclamation Services.
I have said it before in other threads. We have had many, many wars where Mercenaries were hired to fight us, and the majority of those have become our friends and are considered respected Allies.
If I had access to my EvEMail at the moment, I would post up two or three EvEMails I have received from various Merc Corps that have informed me that they have declined assisting those who have requested that they declare war on us. (And hats off to them. They are also very, very well respected in the fact that they would not disclose the Corporation or Alliance who was requesting a quote on their services, and made a point to inform me of this.)
That alone should tell you how much respect Suddenly Ninjas and TEARS have in the community, when someone cannot even hire Mercenaries to fight us.
I'm not officially saying the Coalition was attempting to hire Mercs, however, it seems very, very interesting to me that these EvEMails are being received at a time when we have only this war active.

Thank you for the nice fights and gratz to the Orca kill!
I hope we can have some more great fights and its nice to train more pvp with your pilots!
You can convo me always, if i am online for a nice talk, but RL always > Eve!

I know how that can be - good thing I have a fantastic group of Directors and Member Corporation CEOs that manage the Alliance when I cannot log on.

You're very welcome! Next time we kill one of your Orcas, we hope to be able to loot it before the cavalry comes in.

If you're willing to discuss the terms of your surrender, we would be happy to continue your 'training', with the added bonus of letting your ships live...

AC, you need to train up "Killboard Comprehension" beyond level 1.
For the record, the killmails (and AFAIK the kill API) always list both BPOs and BPCs as "blueprints". Killboards, seemingly all derivative from the same software base, all value "blueprints" as if they were BPOs.
The killmail and kill API behaviors both probably trace back to the same design issues that prevent BPOs and BPCs from being displayed as different icons in game: they both have the same item type code.
And I am strongly considering loading up my Obelisk with popcorn and flying over to Dodixie...

I'm glad you guys are trying to reign in the smack talk a bit. I had to blow up a Myrm the other day that was smacking a bit too much in local after the blob went to bed. Good idea, as per number IV in your alliance Code of Conduct. In case it "suddenly vanishes", I'll post it here for reference as well.
Quote:
IV. You will not threaten or harass any players of the game, including enemies, friends, corpmates, ISD, et. al. Always show respect, even in times of disagreement.
You should tell your members about it. I mentioned it to the guy who was smacking, but he didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Weird.
Cheers.

Wasn't intending to troll, but I suppose "trolling" can be an interpretation of the reader just as easily as it can be an intention of a writer. With that opening line I was trying to be humorous, albeit largely at your expense(*). If you read further I hope you noticed that not only did I confirm that the killboard's display of blueprints dropped/destroyed is misleading, but also provided some explanation of the mechanisms going on behind the scene in an attempt to explain *why* the killboards were misleading. On balance, *I* rated my post as having more contributory than inflammatory content, but that's just my opinion.

/me shakes head in befuddlement Apparently Suddenly Ninjas uses a different Galactic Dictionary than I do. For reference, here is one dictionary's definition: reasonable: (adj.) 1. agreeable to reason or sound judgment; logical: a reasonable choice for chairman. 2. not exceeding the limit prescribed by reason; not excessive: reasonable terms. 3. moderate, esp. in price; not expensive: The coat was reasonable but not cheap. 4. endowed with reason. 5. capable of rational behavior, decision, etc.
But, to combine the two offers, if AC can get to Mamouna at a time of mutual agreement, I'll "gift" him a jump clone.

When the first battle ended, we had lost a Rifter, an Incursus, a Rupture and my own Harbinger, but took down a Vigil, a Thrasher, a Thorax, a Stabber and podded one of their Pilots.
Shortly after this, many of our Members docked and logged for much needed sleep, yet the battle raged on, as the Coalition were blessed with easy targets of our newest Members - and I'm saying, these guys just joined yesterday - relieving them of a Shuttle, a Rifter, a Rupture and three pods.
