Originally founded in BC Canada in 2004, NTHRN was a 100+ man PvP corporation in the Curse Alliance with over 40 people from BC Canada and the rest diverse from other parts of the globe. Having merged with another company to make Oblivion Amalgamated; Northern Storm closed it's doors in 2005 only to be destined to reopen.
Northern Storm Organization focuses on combat specialized members who are drawn to skirmish warfare both out in the field (PvP) and in missions working together. We are attempting to reform our ranks from new players and give this generation of EVE players the Northern Storm experience.
What we are looking for is a group of newer (experienced is good too) pilots who want to hook up with a bunch of casual players out to just have fun. We don't promote smacktalk in local, stupid puffing of our chests. We just want to go and have fun, if that means running away from a battle with most of our ships on fire, well hell we've done that before and it was fun. The most fun I've had in EVE was in Northern Storm back in the day and I'd love to see it grow to be the fun group of people it was with fresh new faces and ideas. Unfortuantely with the merger into OBLV we lost pretty much all our corporation assets, so we are working from the ground up. We had a core of R&D players and welcome anyone wanting to take up the flag and build an industrial division of Northern Storm.
Eventually I'd love to see a good lot of players on helping eachother, talking and laughing as any game should be. More a social core.. If you don't want to get involved in corporate ops and would rather solo yet hang out with good people and talk you're more than welcome too. A corporation is about a unified group of people out to focus on one goal.. enjoying the game. We don't require playtime, or skillpoints, experience or age. I just want to see people in my corp portraying the corporate image of level headed combat pilots.. Maturity is a must... We don't want to have a group of squeeling underage badasses who think they're l337. We want a group of people who know that killing and dying is apart of EVE and that as long as we have a good entertaining time together the outcome of the battle is not important...
Of course winning is awesome and we actually strive for that.. believe it or not hah. I started Northern Storm from the ground up in 2004 with the idea that we were going to go out there, kill stuff, die sometimes, and have god damn fun doing it.
So more or less what I'm getting at is if you're one crazy bugger and want to do some stupid crap in the game and laugh your face off while killing, or dying, well you're NTHRN material.

Still looking for new pilots wanting to get into either undustry, Missions or PvP.
Hopefully in a few months we'll be setup to start producing Tech 1 Ships for the corp and going out to lose them in glorious battle haha!

Nice mix of players now, from 2m sp to 60m sp. We are doing some group missioning and have some industry started. I doubt it will be long before we can kick off our first PvP op. We have some experienced PvP and Industry vets to fly with and learn from.
