Other than the distinct lack of any ISK...?
It keeps flashing, almost non-stop.
I have no market orders and no shares. I have no NPC bounties or mission rewards coming through - in fact my balance isn't changing at all. I'm in an NPC Corp, so no bills or Corp related wallet changes...
Is EVE trying to communicate through the medium of morse code, or am I missing something blindingly obvious (it has been quite a long day)...? |

Edited by: Dym Wastrell on 15/01/2009 19:35:42 Just wanted to confirm the disco-wallet phenom. I got it too. Maybe we're being watched?
I've never bought isk, but I do transfer large chunks of it between alts, maybe I tripped sensor somewhere?
Search away, Isk-stapo, I'm clean.

Edited by: Jonas Barcal on 15/01/2009 19:29:36 It happens when you've been in charge of a corp wallet/division etc and then leave and go into a NPC corp, it's happened on three of my characters so far and when I rejoin a player corp it will stop. |

Hmm, interesting. Try sending all of your ISK to me. If it stops flashing I'll send you back some different ISK so it doesn't start again. |

If this is true for the OP, then it's probably a loose end in the database somewhere. Whenever the corp's wallet changes then your wallet blinks to reflect a change, but you no longer have access to look at it. I'd file a bug report if this is what's happening. Might not be much, but it's adding a slight amount of extra traffic to the database and every little bit of performance help goes a long way. |

Do you have any buy orders active? I've noticed that everytime I buy something through a buyorder my wallet starts flashing also. And indeed, your balance doesn't change. The amount of money in escrow changes, probably that's the reason it starts flashing. Tried to turn it of, but I wasn't succesfull. |

have this "problem" since around two months now. Even bothered to send in a bug report. They replyed they need me to play the game with the logsever on and attach the logs to the bug reports. At witch point I just disabled wallet blinking from the interface and never looked back since.
Useless buggy feature anyway .... |

I had a problem too, bug reported it and got a reply:
"Go out and earn ISK like the rest of the players!"
I felt it was fair |
