Which plexes drop A-Type DS mods?
I'm not paying $200/mil or more for this mod, so don't send offers to sell.
thx

Be warned, there's a reason the prices are extremely high; it takes a lot of time to find 3/10 difficulty sites, especially since they're in highsec and thus very picked over. |

The sites are not to hard to find the trick is being able to go there at a time just after DT, if not you stand very little chance of ever getting anything as you are not the only one that would like to safe or make 200M by running this complex. ------------------------------------------- Should you disagree with me, well I guess that is because I disagree with you. If you have a problem with that please feel free not to tell me. |

Edited by: Jazerus on 16/01/2009 14:03:24 A-type modules drop from nonstatic plexes, so going to one at downtime has nothing to do with your chances of getting a module. And yes, 3/10s are hard to find. Rated plexes are not as common as nonrated escalation sites, and you have to deal with a bunch of junk results in highsec before you run into a 3/10. There is, of course, a 3/10 expedition for each pirate faction, but in my experience it's fairly rare for that site to escalate and thus give you a chance of a deadspace module. |

So do the nonstatic complexes come up like unknowns?

Unknowns are nonstatic plexes. They can be either rated, in which case they are similar to static plexes, or unrated, meaning that they have the chance to escalate. Either can give out deadspace modules, but the rated complexes are a lot less work.

I remember before those 3/10s was moved to exploration. All DED plexes was static and the hi-sec Serpentis Warehous one was farmed like crazy after each DT. (Their content only spawned during DT + 6ish hrs later. People logged off speed fitted HACs at the gates.
Reason the serpentis 3/10 was the most popular hi-sec one was that it dropped gistii A-type stuff and domination mods. Yeah, a bit bugged.. hehe.
After exploration came they moved all >= 3/10 to exploration, fixed the loot tables and added the Angel 3/10 for gistii mods. Btw, anyone know if there are any Guristas 3/10 now ?

I've explored in Guristas highsec for quite a while and I've never found a Guristas rated 3/10. You CAN get Pithi A-Type mods from 3/10 expeditions, though. |

... your stubbornness is costly, my friend. In the time it takes you to find the right plex, and to luck out on getting the right drop from it, you'll have made that 200 mil many times over by running missions, and you'd be less frustrated. But hey, it's your quid, and if principle is that important to you, go for it.

Sometimes I have to be in Empire to move things out of 0.0, I don't mind having to scan down a few unknowns for a DS mod waiting for the next window back to 0.0.
It's not up to you to question how I spend my $14.95.
thx for your concern,

1. I didn't question how you spend your $14.95. In fact I said just otherwise: "But hey, it's your quid, and if principle is that important to you, go for it." There was no malice in my post, just some friendly advice.
2. You posted a public thread on a public forum. If I really do want to question how you spend your $14.95, well, that comes with how I spend my $14.95. It's my prerogative, and there's nothing you can do about it, mate. Are you always such an ass? Nvm, I already have my answer...
