I can confirm that interacting with the EVE forum community while having its moments, has been the lowest of all lows I have experienced in EVE Online.
I think that has something to do with reading so many posts that contain such utter schite, by people I cannot describe in words as this forum has certain rules and a profanity filter.

You have my every sympathy. I don't envy your job in that regard, but in those low moments try to hang onto the thought that there are a few people at least who have found and absorped the words 'polite', 'friendly' and 'constructive' in the dictionary. |

I so wanted to respond to this post with a 4 letter word for comic effect. But yes there are plenty of people out there who are fine, the majority simply have better things to do that read or respond to some of the rubbish people post.
That said, most of the remarks we share with each other in corp chat or teamspeak dont bear repeating, theres just a time & a place for different audiences.

Oooh, we'll have Verone on the show for the first time in... how long has it been? Over a year I think, but maybe a little less. I'll have to ask how his life has been since he found Raptor Jesus.
The flying spaghetti monster had best be weary, I sense many religious conversions today.

Oh wait... Verone was taken off my guest list? Oh well...
So Claw mooned you and it caused screams? Were they screams of joyous hysteria a la Austin Powers movies, or screams of utter terror a la Texas Chainsaw Massacre?
This is important as I'll need to know how much tinting to put on the windows, or if it's extreme, I may have to go for just frosting the glass entirely. |

The second official tournament podcast is now available at The Drone Bay's regular home at Virgin Worlds (direct mp3 link).
I'd like to take a moment to thank Brent once again for hosting the shows for us, and for providing a great home for MMO podcasts. If you're interested in MMO podcasts, EVE related and otherwise, definitely check out the Virgin Worlds Podcast Collective. |

Originally by: StevieSG Over the last two days of broadcasts, we not only managed to have 4000 listeners to the radio stream, but we also became the 23rd most watched thing on Youtube!
We just broke 100,000 views!
Congrats! Awesome job, folks.
Now let's just pray that's enough for CCP to want to go the extra mile and reinstate live video coverage for next year's tourney! At least they can't blame the numbers anymore... |

I think youtube will give CCP a wide non-Eve based market to target.. especially when curious youtoobers investigate the new hit thats come to grace their screens!
They will have the Eve TV for the semi's upwards so thats makes up for it somewhat.

Depends on what station... go into their channel in IRC and look for the DJ who will be marked with -----ONAIR.
They generally will play requests :) may get you on for interviews too!
Hope that helps..

Yeah I'd like this too. Just a large MP3 of the whole coverage on New Eden Radio would be great. A lot of us would love to listen to the whole thing during the week at work.
