Hi all.
Come across Mobile Warp Disruptors at some gate camps I've managed to escape, and I was just curious how they work when it comes to targeting ships to effect?
For example, are ships from the anchoring corp exempt, or can they be set to target specific ships and suchlike? |

They will catch everybody in regards to corp/alliance or whatever, so you can't set them to 'hostile only' or something like that. |

Evryone inside the bubble is warp jammed no matter who or what they are.

In addition to that, the mechanics work like this
The bubble must be in-line wherever your destination is (and it's got a pretty small margin of error too on the line-up)
The target must land within 150k of the bubble
example: you can place a bubble on the opposite side of a gate, 80km away, and the bubble and two stargates you have them lined up makes a straight line
You've just created a "sling bubble." ta da!\o/
Also if your bubble is not anchored and ready to make you go into epilleptic seizure *before* I hit the warp button on my end, it will not catch me.
Interdictor bubbles are a whole other thingy. |

It is especially fun to catch people in their own bubbles then kill them. It's less expensive too. ______________________ Isn't it time you learned to fight back? Agony Unleashed Home of the PvP University.

If you're engaging a target and don't have a dictor or HIC handy but there's an anchored bubble, I've found many pilots are often so preoccupied with the fight that they don't realize you're luring them toward the bubble.
When they pop, pod can't warp and they make a lovely squish sound. |
