Seriuosly though, what's up with non-caldari ships being used by the freaking defence force of the Caldari?! More than half of the points used for other races' ships...? I'd be ashamed of myself flying a Gallente ship in a Caldari faction team tbh.

Bah...I don't give a **** about RP, but...where's your sense of style guys??  It's cool that a FW team is winning at all ofc, but how much cooler would you look if you won with an all Caldari lineup?
It's not just the style, but the challenge of the thing. And don't tell me it couldn't be done. |

Last I checked "sense of style" doesn't win fights. If you want style, go read a fashion magazine.
Well true, skill is what wins fights. But with even more skill, you can do it while looking good, and providing something extra for the audience. Or tell me style had nothing to do with Notoriety or the Star Fraction providing some of the best remembered fights in the history of the tournament? |

becuase any strategic expert can tell you use your enemys tactics agaisnt them ;)

The Gallente had a decent lineup but let's face it, IDLE and Capital.Punishment failed to deliver. IDLE really surprised me there...I thought they would have smashed the Gallente for sure. I'm much more interested in how both teams will fare next round.
Going to be on testing fits out A LOT the next few days... 
Things only get harder from here. And it is very much a ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS tourney, there is no ONE great setup that will get you through no matter what. However I think with the Navy Megas (as so well put after the fight) we brought a rather LARGE jaggy rock against a wet paper bag. Not knocking IDLE in any way, the just had BAD luck. Blaster Megas on top of you... You could have some nice 100gsm paper but Navy Mega's @ 0.... Your paper is gonna get holes in it.
Mega props for bringing out that lineup guys. Just so damn enjoyable to watch. Now, all you gotta do is change that Damnation for an Eos and I will wet myself. Come on, that cmd ship link bonus isn't the whole world anyway, not if you use a mindlink...  |
