I've got a jumpclone trapped in an owned station in 0.0. I've been in an alliance, a stronger one came and chased it away while i wasnt't active, and now i have alot of stuff stuck inthere...
What would be the best way to get my stuff outta there? I think i can fit everything in a frigate i have there. I don't think coming to a deal with their CEO could be possible, as they seem really unsociable.
thanks

Jump to it just after/before downtime and get out in your frig.

As has been suggested, sneaking it out in a Frigate - a Cov Ops would be best, I suspect.
As an alternative, you could try a "fire sale" - on Market or Contracts and everything priced to go!

Clonejump, ninja out in the frigate, and hope it's fitted for executing plan RLF.
Alternatively, courier contract to somewhere sensible in high/lowsec (lowsec in carrier jumprange being a good one). -- 249km locking? |

Thought of flying out around downtime, but the nearest high-sec being 50 jumps away i doubt i wouldn't find a bubble on the way. Low sec shouldn't be a problem for me, but i would need to plan the route, will check with a jump planner.
As for the contracts i don't really know if it would work.. the system isn't that populated.

Edited by: Uhr Zylex on 25/01/2009 17:25:44 This is what I would do (right after dt on a weekday if possible):
1) Fly, in a covops and implantless clone, to some quiet system near where your stuff is in. Eject from it in a ss.
2) Self destruct pod (or slowboat back to highsec..).
3) Go to jumpclone, load a cheap frig with the stuff and get to your ejected covops.
4) Eject stuff, get in covops, load stuff, get to highsec. |

If you cant get though a bubble in a covops, your doing it wrong...
if anything the changes have made running bubbles easier... (gate changes anyone)

Quick bubble dodging tutorial from an interceptor pilot.
Lesson 1: Ah crap, I'm in a bubble!
Don't panic! Don't try to move, don't try to warp, you're going to get through this just fine. Calm down and look at your surroundings. What side of the bubble are you on? The edge of the bubble closest to you, does it have anything that you can warp to? Lets say it's a planet you can warp to that is closest to the edge of the bubble you're on. Great, now we have somewhere to warp.
Be calm, you're about to do some quick movements with your mouse (and/or keyboard). Select the planet to warp to. Now here's where you have to be quick. Click the "Align" button on your 'Selected Items' window, now very quickly turn on your MWD, and just as quickly move your mouse back up to the 'Selected Items' window and start clicking warp as fast as humanly possible.
Lesson 2: You made it out, now what?
Don't stop moving! Don't sit at the planet you warped to, don't sit at a gate, do not stop. Get out of the system as fast as possible, and get 2-3 systems between you and the gate camp. They may just think an interceptor is worth chasing (I don't know why, but you never know.) |

First I would sell all the stuff what I owned at that station. The clone is not so important. Just learn a higher skill in Infomorph Psychology. Later if everything is sold - maybe all your ship, then just undock, and self-destruct - assuming there is no implant there. If you have implants, than take your smallest ship, and try to sneak out right after DT.

Some random notes:
- Don't rush unless you really short of ISK, situation shouldn't get worse - You can't access fitting screen nor do any repairs, so hopefully you have ship ready there and all sellable stuff non-damaged. - Best call is to JC there, and set market orders for all stuff that might sell in few months.
- For valuable stuff you want to out: find out what is the Empire (lowsec) hub the locals use for their logistics, and just set a reasonably rewarded courier missions to there. -> Courier contracts accept also damaged stuff -> Can set those remotely -> Usually 0.0 logistics involve lot of POS fuels coming in, and less going out -> room for minor 'easy' hauling tasks

Well, I dont't know if they'll accept it if they see such a large collateral (items value), they might think it's a scam... and getting this kind of intel could be hard but i'll give it a try. thanks for the ideas

Ok, I'll take a stab at it.
Escaping Warp Bubbles In A Cov Ops
Key Points Of Interest:
1. They know you are there. Their scout on the other side told them you flashed through. You didn't see their scout? That's because he's either offgrid or cloaked at the gate. 2. Some of them are orbiting the gate, with drones out, and in fast frigate sized ships at intervals of 5,10, and 15km. 3. Some of them may have even jettisoned containers on the outbound side of the gate which you may or may see unless you have "Show All Brackets" set. 4. Some of them may have jettisoned corpses, which you will not see unless they are set to display in your overview. Corpses have no brackets. 5. Items 2-4 will get you uncloaked, popped, and podded. 6. Your window of opportunity with 2-4 in effect is slim, so act first, think later. 7. Forget bubble size, a decent Cov Ops pilot can go 20-30km from his entry point while cloaked in a single MWD cycle. 8. Navigate out of the mix first, not second. 9. Blindly aligning can get you killed. You can't warp until you are out of the bubble anyways. 10. The whole point is you are cloaked, if you navigate away from active collidables (pilots) chances are you will simply coast out of the bubble within moments and warp away. 11. Most impromptu hostile bubbles in your friendly null will have no jettisoned containers, corpses. There simply is not time for it.
What to do: (note the below should all take place within a single cycle of your MWD once you break your gate cloak)
1. Keep your HUD zoomed out so you can see a horizontal of at least 30-45km while traveling. Enough to note ship movements, but also enough to pan your camera to see trajectories for objects in the system as in relation to the position of your cloaked ship (you need to be able to see the transparent frame with a reference point like the bubble or stargate to note depth and not just a highlight box). When you enter a grid, and notice a bubble, then this will come in immediately handy.
2. Pan the camera and watch the orbit trajectories of the hostiles while you note any objects from your immediate position that appear to be viable warp targets. Left click that target.
3. Zoom the camera in to less than 10km horizontal (your ship should cover a slight majority of the screen at this point). Hit "Align to", hit your cloak, hit your MWD. All must be completed within a fair fraction of a second. As your ship aligns, pan the camera so your view is on the object you are aligning to.
4. Now, remember you took note of the orbit trajectories of the hostiles? They just saw you, one of them may have even been quick enough to note your trajectory and set a manual approach or if you were slow enough a selected object approach. That same person may even go 4km/sec and have drones all over them. You should have your viewpoint on the aligned object at this point, now pan back out to about 20km as you watch hostile velocity and distance on your overview.
5. See that one going 4km/sec and closing on your position? Notice the large gap in the hostile orbits? Pan the camera at a hard right angle and manual in a random direction at 90 degrees: hit one of those gaps. Wait 3-4 seconds. You should still have the warp target selected. Click on "Align to" again.
6. By this time, from the point you broke the gate cloak, until now, you have used up the MWD cycle and should be nearing the edge of the bubble one way or the other. With any luck, that interceptor with 10 drones on it, is running 5-10km next to you in a straight line, and so are you. You are aligned, you just exited the edge of the bubble. Hit warp, profit.
A good null bubble camp, will have interceptors or fast frigate sized ships (and drones tailing them) orbiting at 5, 10, and 15km. Just think of it as a three dimensional game of Frogger. _______________________________________________

Step 1.
Identify the model of covert ops you are flying. If it is a Helios (which looks like a flying turd) move to step 2. If it is not, move to step 3.
Step 2.
Activate self destruct. Once the timer counts down, dock up and get a proper covert ops. Move to step 3.
Step 3.
Jump through into the gatecamp. Move to step 4.
Step 4.
Quickly ascertain whether you are inside or outside the bubble(s). If you are inside a bubble, move to step 6. If you are outside the bubble, move to step 7.
Step 5.
???.
Profit.
Step 6.
Quickly identify the portion of the bubble's circumference which is closest to you. Start moving in this direction. Hit your microwarpdrive. Hit your cloak. Move to step 6.
Step 7.
Warp out. Stop holding your breath before you pass out.
