Heh, amusing. There's one thing they didn't factor into their cunning plan.
What's stopping me from eating "sea-kittens" when I'd quite honestly eat a "land-kitten" one of these days... just to see what it tasted like? |

Well every country has it's fools. Just in most they don't make it into Parliament! But I have to tell you that I am English, also I thought that PETA was originally an American organisation? Am I wrong in that fact?

No, but David never lets an inconvenient fact get in the way of his England-bashing. |

My bad, but little FYI PETA is just a front for the ALF Animal Liberation Front which is English. I assumed a person like yourself might already know that.
"Noel Molland writes that the ideas behind the ALF can be traced to 19th century England and a small group of activists from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA)."

Well I read the linked article, and from what I gathered PETA is not a front for the ALF but the President of PETA was allegidly trained by ALF. Also ALF has been named as a 'domestic terrorist' group by the US Government and if it was as obvious as to be on Wikipedia that PETA was a front for ALF then it would also be named as such and it's activities would be shut down, especially in today's times.
Quote: The ALF was named as a terrorist threat by the United States Department of Homeland Security in January 2005.[98] In hearings held on 18 May 2005 before a Senate panel, officials of the FBI and ATF stated that "violent animal rights extremists and eco-terrorists now pose one of the most serious terrorism threats to the nation," adding that "of particular concern are the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and the Earth Liberation Front (ELF)."[99][100]

I don't about PETA but I do know that E.L.F. was declared a domestic terrorist group. But then their save the world efforts include firebombing an entire car dealership so 6 hummers don't make it onto the streets. |

honestly? "Sea Kitten" actually sounds MORE delicious than "fish".
Only good PETA has ever done is the "State of the Union Undress" tbh. it's basically "we want you to listen to our extremely important message about dignity and respect, so here's a hot naked chick."
It takes what should be a serious and powerful message on animal cruelty and turns it into NUTS! magazine.
I'm all for maintaining high ethical standards, but I really hate it when groups like PETA and Greenpeace make their own causes hard to support by pulling dumb s**t like this. - Verin "Stitcher" Hakatain. |

You know, if everyone just grew a pair and dedicated effort to **** that actually mattered - the world might not be so bad.
Downside is that theres always someone.. somewhere, whining about irrelevant **** that they think is SO important - but actually influences nothing. |

Yeah that's the trouble with people being free to do and say what they want: they do.
