I represent a Minmatar who is looking to join the fight. He has, in the past, offered his services to the highest bidder. He refuses to say why the change of heart but requests that the proud members of Ushra'Kahn allow him to join their ranks. He will supply the needed documents to verify his skills and will accept any restrictions place on him. All he asks that he be aloud to fly with his brothers to help break the amarr empire and free his people. If any other Minmatar freedom alliances request his services they may also post here.
This pilot has 52m sp's which include extensive pvp skills and experience. He can fly multiple types and races of ships(including dread and carrier).
Please contact me here or in game for more information.

Another Tribal that has believed the lies of the Gallente and the terrorists. I pity him for looking to join the terrorist cause. God will cleanse him too as he will cleanse the heathens of the UK and EM in His time.
The Ammatar people can count one more enemy this day; and by name. We will be watching. If you would like to repent you can come to the Mandate where we will induct you into our Slave Enhancement Program.
May the God of Amarr enlighten your lives. If not... the Empire will do the rest.

Ignore the sycophant. He has been controlled by his slave masters for so long, he is no longer Minmatar, merely a dog that comes when the Amarr whistle. Its sad really to see someones spirit broken so far they take the mantle of a slave for life even when there is no collar around their neck.

It's interesting to note that this supposed freedom fighter is apparently so ashamed of his views that he hides behind his Gallentean pimp in order to maintain his anonymity.

I fail to see irony here. its is illegal to hold slaves in the Gallente Federation and abhorant as well as illegal in my own Republic. Oh but your talking about being a slave to my ideals aren't you? then yes I answer well to the slave master of freedom and liberty and self determination. That is well known in this venue. |

Or maybe this minimatar holds a position that gives him certain insight and doesnt wish to jeopardize said position. Or maybe he is in a position that requires certain actions before he can move from said position.
Just because you cling to your false god doesnt make you omniscient. Your vision is blinded by your selfishness. Do not speak of things about which you know nothing.

Edited and highlighted for accuracy.
What I really meant is that you call a loyal Ammatar servant a slave yet you yourself are wittingly a slave to Gallentean ideals of hedonism, decadence and self-importance. The fact that they have so easily fooled you into believing their idiotic version of "freedom, liberty, etc" at the cost of your own soul - the irony of your original statement to Mr. Marek is so blatantly obvious it bears mention.
But at least you are being honest about your ideals. If more were so honest, discussions would be much more to the point. ---------------

Today, the 'net is filled, as ever, with those trumpeting their idealism or deriding the ideals of others.
At least Drakonus got something right here: Sky Grunthor is as much a slave as any who bear servitude involuntarily, though she may not see it. Honestly, all of you are slaves of one kind or another, tied to your various Empires and ideals.
Though, if a capsuleer insists on being foolish and following an ideal or a nation, one could do far worse than those that fight for freedom and self determination.
I wish you employer good luck, King Midas. Better a terrorist than a dog of the Empire. |

Selfish? Most certainly. Ideals and moralily are one of the last great barriers preventing capsuleers from collectively taking our rightful place as the Gods of New Eden.
What does it matter to me what happens to those pathetic mortals? I admit that it was the work of others (and the machinations of fate) that allow me to be free today, but by that same logic it was the work of still others that myself and my people were enslaved in the first place.
Fate is fate. Leave others to their's, I say, and claim your own.

Gods. Really.
I was beginning to rather like you, Ms. Ranos. But it seems you've been drinking Revan Neferis' brew.
Speaking as someone who has little use for ideals and regards morality as a social tool, I am the farthest thing from a "god." Infomorph, yes. Immortal, no. Powerful, certainly yes. All-powerful, definitely not.
We are weapons, Ms. Ranos, forces of destruction, more demon than god. We were created, trained, to be such, and we play our part well. But our "immortality" is a fiction; to believe that the ability of the consciousness to survive the body suggests godhood, or immortality of any genuine sort, is to miss entirely the frailties of our new state.
Bullets through the head are still bad, Ms. Ranos, and our very existence is an invitation to sabotage. We die, and die easily, and were humanity to put its collective mind to it, we would perish. It is fortunate for us that it's a little preoccupied with its own affairs to take more than fan club notice of ours.
I don't really expect you to hear me; the sort of fool who pretends to godhood hardly ever can, but there's an outside chance and a wider audience.
We who have left our humanity behind, the Demented, are the most immediately vulnerable of our kind. We are overconfident, highly visible, and unsympathetic to human eyes. For us all to follow the path you suggest is collective suicide, and it is so for this reason: they would kill us.
They think on a smaller scale than we do, a scale on which we must depend on our security teams and back-up plans for our defense, and at that level we can be overcome.
Fate is better left untempted, Ms. Ranos. If we are to be visibly "other" at all, let it at least be in a way that does not make more of our state than its reality can support. |

Quite the contrary. You've given me something to think about, certainly. First and foremost, I've come to the conclusion today that I should be more careful how I word my statements when adressing such a wide audience as Galent. I tend to punctuate my speach with exagerations and ill-defined metaphores, and that habbit has already attracted no small degree of scorn today.
You are, of course, right. We are not divinity, and we never will be.
Forgive me the extreme nature of my statements, as they reflect more my frustration with those unable to see past the ideals they learned before they took their place as capsuleers than any illusions of godhood. I do not in any way beleive we shoud place ourselves as lords over those who do not share our state, merely that we, as a whole, need to think in the "larger scale" you alude to.

Ah-- now this is a relief. You'd be amazed how often on this system the speaker means such statements literally.
You seem an interesting person, Ms. Ranos. The Angel Cartel may have use for someone of your character. If you find yourself in search of employment, consider looking us up: public channel, "Ghost Festival," at your leisure, of course. Edited by: Davlos on 29/01/2009 11:33:30 If I were to retain the ideals I held before swimming the stars on my own, I would have been a boring, pedantic salaryman who would shoot rocks all day, dump them into a refinery and churn out consumer goods. Then I go home to f**k the wife, pat the children on the head and look down upon the Amarrians, Matari and Gallente from the top of my nose.
The State engineered me to be single-mindedly working and socially-******ed in the 'Tube so that I may not have any aspirations to overtaking the CEOs. But this display of the chronic lack of empathy is putting people on the autistic spectra to shame.
You say that people who put fate in their hands, who worked to secure your freedom (and also, the work of fate) enabled you to be free. Yet you claim to desire to leave others to their fate and forge your own fate with your hands.
The logic does not compute. Input that into a century-old computer and it wouldn't take a nanosecond for it to respond that:
Statement: Meatbags like you programmed me to find solutions using the laws of rational logic that you were meant to possess.
Don't bother to ask any philosopher with silver hair. It only shows an ingrate attempting to craft excuses while swimming in a non-accomplishing pirate corp. |

No, in this case honor is a tool. If is a way of looking after my interests. As one who has fought as a Veto pilot, surely you know that the few modules and sytems that can be salvaged from the wreckage of a ship are typically worth far less than even a very conservative ransom.
If more pirates in my position honored their ransom agreements, pirates as a whole would be better off financially. However, there are those in my profession who are simply too brutish, bloodthirsty and simple-minded to realize this, so I must labor to advertise my bussiness integrity in order to stand out as such.
Also, while I am trying to keep myself from rising to the baiting of one such as yourself, I am compelled to say (as the founder and executor of my "non-accomplishing" pirate organization) that you shouldn't take our "accomplisments" so lightly.
