Hi, I have noticed when declining a mission before you actually accept it, it doesnt cost of standing, is this forever, becouse some of my corp m8's have said that if you decline to many of them in a row, it will cost you standing.
reason is, I just started experimenting on lvl 5's and I dont want standing loss if I get an OMG WTF missions, or a mission with the wrong damage types to tank.
Greetings, Ferenc

How are you starting level 5 missions but don't know the declining mechanics?
You get one free decline, then you have to wait 4 hours otherwise your next decline costs you standing.
I recently managed to lose my level 4 agent thanks to declining too many courier missions in a row without waiting

reason I dont know about it may just as well be I never declined missions. or maybe a few, but never in a row. everyone keeps saying other things and that makes me wonder, so I go and ask here.

Ah :)
Yeah, basically as I said - you get one "free" decline, but if you decline another within 4 hours, you get a standing hit. |

1. you can decline a mission every 4 hours without taking a standings hit 2. once you accept a mission, declining it means you take a standings hit, so if that's how you're discovering that you have the wrong tank type, then you're screwed (not to mention you may lose your ship anyway) 3. pretty much all L5 missions are OMG WTF missions, especially if you try to run them solo, so be prepared for it 4. there's only 4 damage types to tank, and since you said you've been doing missions for a while you should already know that
