A pod is usually best if you want to avoid unmanned POS-gun fire. Fit a withering personality to your name and you wont need to do any DPS.
An alternative is the Osprey of Doom, designed in this very forum nearly two years ago. If I recall it can fit capital class weapons and a DD. Its tank isn't very good though, so fit officer warp core stabs and / or a couple of cloaks (you need backups in case one fails). --- Not happy with something in EVE? An emo whine will doubtless help your cause. |

It's surprising that nothing has been done about the Osprey in that regard - some consider it overpowered. Before you engage the doomsday weapon, make sure you're using the focussing script and are aligned facing away from the POS. From there you merely need to pout menacingly and prepare for the cries of horror from your stricken foes. |

Geddon. Cheap, tough, and no reload in laggy situations.

Falcons cuz they are overpowered.. oh wai...
Ravens do a nice job w/ changable damage type and of course you can't beat lasers for extended firing. |

I love my domi for sub-capital pos warfare. You can fit dual remote reppers + 4 350mm's + MWD + ECCM + lots of cap stuff + big tank. Stable with 3x remote rep rigs. With t2 sentries and turrets you'll be dealing respectable damage too.
Aside from battleships, I'd say logistics are fine. Also cloakers have their uses for providing warp in points. |

In my opinion, the top 3 are:
#1 Geddon for incapping the modules and general POS damage. Also, it's cheap.
#2 Raven with torps for the tower itself.
#3 Domi is nice because it's flexible, can remote rep, etc. if necessary, and deals decent dps to the pos itself with drones +rails.
