Anyone else notice drones not docking? This was fixed long ago but looks like it is back now from time to time. |

I have always had trouble docking light drones when in a bs. Don't have problems with others.

Happend to me to, bigger Problem in some Situations is that the Drones sometimes end up concontrolled in space, instead in the Dronebay when getting back to the ship with high Speeds. |

Have had the same problem.. Pretty lame to loose your t2 drones because they keep jumping around you, when you have to warp/jump away from a enemy at a gate, tho the drones are right at ya.

Ive seen this happen 75%-85% of the time on sisi the last 2 days but I have not really tested it on TQ. |

It happens on TQ way too often. And usually Warriors t2 are ones that refuse to dock.

I've had problems with light and medium drones. It seems that faster the drone is, more likely its going to over shoot the docking while microwarping. The problem is corrected if you assign drones and immediately redock them, but sometimes you have to go, go ,go and you don't have time to dance your drones around. Ship type doesn't seem to be a factor for me. |

Exactly what i have found, you can also hit return to orbit and that seems to work for me.
Anyone had drone numbers not showing correctly too ?

Ex. Drake + Warrior II drones. Quite a few times 1 or 2 drones are left out. From the looks of their movement and the distance measurements in the overview, they are simply moving too fast and overshooting their trajectory.

Yep had the same problem lately, only with lights though, they wont dock, they wont all launch if packaged in drone bay (this is with all drones, 4 will launch, 1 stays behind).
Also had the odd time when it shows 4 out and there is actually 5, very rarely I return the drones and some dock some become uncontrolled but stay out.

Same here, occasionnaly.
Return to hold : they all zoom back to the ship, and dance around. 2 or 3 dock, the others stay outside.
Return and orbit then scoop usually solve it, but sometimes, you have to send them away, then recall them instantly.
Happened recently -Several time with Miner II on a hulk, drone navigation 5, ship moving or not -Once with Warrior 2 on a dominix, drone navigation 4, with ship moving(slowly).
The miner II also sometimes dance around the ship when coming back from mining. If you assign them all to the same roid, they come back together in a short span of time at first, then after a while on a really big roid, they fall appart, usually with 2 or 3 of them pretty much at the same time and the rest out of synchronicity. oasio

I have seen all the above happening, mostly in busy systems.
I think it is related to lag or some defective communication between EVE and the player PC, as it happens in the same systems where docking sometime fail (i.e. you hit the dock command and the ship stop at 1.000 meters from the station or still try to approach even when it is bumping on the station structures).
