ôMa'am! Shields are at 10%, if the current rate of incoming damage holds, we have thirty seconds until the structure reaches critical damage!ö First mate Johnson shouted. ôAlright, I'm issuing the order to abandon ship.ö Elite replied. As she said this, explosions rippled through the ship, a telltale sign of explosive decompression. Elite watched as her command crew got into the pod in the bridge of the ship, then activated her own eject sequence, leaving her Drake in time to see the effect that a loss of shields has on a Caldari ship. ôFleet command, this is Divine Intervention actual speaking, my ship is down and I'm bugging out.ö ôUnderstood, Elite, good luck to your men, you gave 'em hell out there. Proceed to rally point theta immediately.ö Crackled over the radio. ôRoger that, Elite out.ö Elite watched as the rest of the fleet threw, and received, massive blows to the enemy. She activated her warp drive and waited for the transfer to rally point theta to begin. ôCrap...ö she thought to herself ôthat's the third ship this month... how are we ever going to win this w-ö Her thoughts were cut off by a klaxon going off. Being so caught up with trying to find out what the klaxon was for, she didn't realize that she wasn't in warp, nor did she see the Crow come up from behind her, but she did feel the missiles hit the shell of her pod.

ôJust breathe deep, Ms. Qin, just breathe deep and calm down, you need to slow your heart rate.ö The clone technician soothingly said. ôThe Gods be praised for this technology, it never ceases to amaze me.ö ôWhat happened? Where am I?ö Elite asked. ôYour pod was destroyed, you're back in the APAX clone bay.ö ôDammit! How'd the battle end?ö ôReports are still coming in. We took massive casualties, but they took more.ö ôWell... it could've been worse I suppose... I need to get back into my ship.ö ôAll in due time, Ms. Qin, all in due time.ö
---------------------------- 3 Weeks Later ------------------------------------------------
ôWhat do you mean I already took my Drake out?!ö Elite shouted. ôWhat could I mean other than what I just said? Your new Drake was undocked a week ago, I suspect it's already back on the front lines.ö The dockmaster replied. ôHow could I have taken it out? I've been in the clone bay for the past three weeks!ö ôMs. Qin, that's not my problem, I just record when ships are taken in and out.ö ôFine, can you get me a comm link with whoever too my ship out?ö ôNow that, Ms. Qin, is something that I can help you with.ö The dockmaster replied, then led Elite down the long, winding corridors of the station. They reached a door with a sign saying ôCOMMSö on it, the dockmaster palmed the door, then they stepped in. Most of the room was dominated by the holo-projector in the middle of it. It was a complex machine, and the software behind it was even more impressive. While piloting ships, pod pilots are, as the name implies, in their pods. Because of this, the software has to create a 3d model and determine the emotions, lip movements, and mannerisms of the pilot in real time. ôAlright, Ms. Qin, I'll try to make a connection to the Divine Intervention now.ö The holo-projector flickered and came to life as Elite told the ship's comms lieutenant to put her through to the captain. ôDivine Intervention actual here.ö Said the voice over the comm link. ôDivine Intervention, please switch to Holo-projector communication, I'd feel much better if you would.ö Elite replied, exasperated. ôUnderstood.ö The voice replied. A small whirring sound came from the holo-projector as it built a 3D model of the pilot. Elite looked up at the projection and froze, seeing herself staring back.
