Hello,
I'm in a full on war-dec with 3 corporations, who today camped Jita 4.
I heard news of this camp, so did not carry my 90M cargo, but undertook a 10M investment instead (main investment from elsewhere, this was just to pay for the jouirney).
Anyway, was destroyed.
.......
Any other traders not in an NPC corp got some advice how to survive ?
I should have used a better fitting yes, but my badger Mark II was not at this station and i couldn't be bothered to buy and fit another.
Thanks,
P.S currently shifting things around with my alt which is not worth the value, time wise. |

2 solutions..
Either do station trading and utilize remote selling and modification skills to buy and sell stuff without leaving the station.
If you trading depends on hauling stuff use courier contracts and let someone else haul the goods.
If you really want to move the stuff yourself train for a blockade runner as they are much harder to catch now that they can use a cov ops cloak. |

Do people ever pick up a courier contract?
People don't seem to pay enough for collateral/distance and size |

Mine are generally taken and delivered within 2-3 hours. And I am not a frequent user of courier contracts.

I hardly ever move stuff around myself, couriers are just great.
And you get paid for setting up the contracts because of opportunity cost

make an insta-undock bookmark... might be a problem with lag in Jita (?)
make a courier contract one jump only, enough to avoid the camps in Jita, pay relatively well... transporters look for easy couriers... not sure how much is good pay, since I don't do much courier contracts
use alts in npc-corps seems to be the only way to avoid war-decs, sadly, but use the game-mechanics, other do too.

Okay thanks, the bookmark undock is a good idea =)!
Might try courier contracts later, will help me make money whilst not moving!! lol - just need the skills first.
...
I fitted a frigate with inertia stablisers, and a cargo expander II and just ran in =). Made it sucessfully wooohoo!

uh, I wot 2wars and I thought Jita 4-4 trading would be a good solution (griefers eating all the lag waiting for me out jita station)
but as Im checking, they are down to eat it. They won't care! lol...

Leave you current corp temporarily (best thing) or use instas and a blockade runner.

Blockade runners are no good for Jita. Traffic (no cloak) and lag makes you vulnerable. For Jita a deep space transport would be better (might survive a single BS until it is in warp or redocked) |

Make NPC corp alt, Amarr for example with frig 3 and starship command 3. Buy Amarr Industrial skill for him, train to level 1. You now have NPC corp wartime hauler alt in bestower. Have fun.
If you need to trade in Jita I would also suggest training the remote trading skills, you don't need to be in jita to trade in jita.

Personally I would sugest you don't wardec other corps if you don't want to get camped or shot down. (or get some competent pilots to fight us, so we don't have to go after you)
Afte all, you were the only one from your corp that wanted to undock (The rest was biding their time, and picking their fights... acording to their own statement) |

1. Use fast frigate to move goods to a central station. 2. Contract goods to an alt. 3. Get alt to move goods. 4. Contract goods back to main. 5. Fly main to selling station in a shuttle. 6. Sell goods.

Courier contracts work great. Just make sure you put the payment as something worthwhile compared to the collateral and distance. I usually pay good reward for my contracts and never have any trouble getting my goods delivered within 24 hrs - even 30 jumps distance.
