I didn't misunderstand you, I know that some people like to have voluntary periods of abstinence. I was just offering my alternative as I would never want to or feel the need to be abstinent.
Also I misconstrue nothing. Penetration is definitely a part of a healthy sexual relationship but I need my wife to know that I am her sexual savior and lord before I stick it in. The opposite is also true, I make sure she knows that she is my wh o re of destiny. Of course in all seriousness this means that we have an intense sexual bond where we are both completely free to do and have done to each other with no reservations or second thoughts needed.
