due to lost connections and long que's i've just been bounced around more times than a fat man having sex with a pro, im not sure if this is meant to be like this on a patch day but damn surely they should have set up the loggin's per country or something more organised to allow every access at a steady rate, cool game big bugs

I'm all well and good with the extended time, however what I can not stand is incompetence of a company that completely ignores its customers and provideds fauly updates. I was in a mish earlier and it booted me during it. No doubt I'll have lost my ship and CCP will do feck all about it as per usual.
I'm seriously thinking of cancelling everything to do with eve as I have lost an entire day almost. I did not pay for more bugs. I want my lost time refunded.

Nah... That would've been the day they released a patch that overwrote the boot.ini file in the main root path instead of in the Eve folder and a number of peoples' computers would no longer start up... think that'll hold the record for a long time.
It's a patch launch, there are bound to be issues, we just need to wait them out for the moment.
Hehe... I was a customer of Computer Associates(CA[Crashing Always]) a couple of years ago and they did just that! So CCP is not as bad just yet.

All fifty cents of it? Will that be by credit card or check?
I, on the other hand, am willing to accept that the GMs that post on the board can only give us updates when the dev team provides them, and I am further willing to accept that the dev team is probably extremely, incredibly, enormously busy just this second. I already understand there's some kind of server problem.

Actually, I think CCP listens to its players better than any other mmo I've played. People complain, thats just what we do.

As paying customers we have every right to complain, CCP has a test server. There is no reason why issues like this should happen on tranquility...

Still at least I got to play for 5 minutes, it should be enough to hold me a few hours :)

CCP provides an outstanding product here. I, just like the rest of you, are extremely anxious to get back in and get my required daily EVE fix. I know we all live in an instant gratification society, but jeez, people show a little patience for a change.

Just thought you'd like to know that Eve, if you're in the UK, costs 33p a day... so not a lot.

As someone who played SWG at launch for 2 years I think I know what a badly managed abortion of a game is. And you say CCP doesnt listen to its player base. Sheesh.
I don't know what they'd have to do to get me really hot.

I finally get how they reduce lag in this patch. by kicking everyone off, there is no more stress on the servers. GENIUS!
