During a recent roam, my corpies and I happened upon an unlucky group that happened to fall inside our heavy interdictor's influence. After a brief, but spirited interchange, which included the podding of one of the unfortunate combatants, I was surprised to find a flash-frozen female persona amongst the wreckage.
As I have been alone in space, with a predominately male set of colleagues, I immediately pulled her onboard.
I have named her Chloe, and she has accompanied me on all my trips since. We've ratted, gate camped, and sold things in Jita together. It's become an extremely endearing relationship. While she isn't the most talkative sort, and "relations" between us are somewhat cold and one-sided, I have grown fond of her endless curiosity; When I place her on the bridge in a chair, looking out onto space, she will sit, unmoving, not blinking nor breathing, for hours, with the same look on her face, until I have one of the crewmembers put her back in the captains' quarters.
My question is this: Recently, I decided that Chloe needed some new garments. I went ahead and purchased the clothes: (Red Women's Impress Skirt, Olive Women's Sterling Dress Blouse, and Women's Minima Heels...(never forget the shoes, gentleman!). When I went to put them on her, I realized that there is no function to allow me to do so. Is that coming up in a future release?
Also, do you have plans to make the same clothes that the exotic dancers wear available for purchase? I want Chloe to feel and look sexy. |

I will admit that things between me and Chloe are somewhat frigid. We do play games though. She always seems to win at staring contests. However, I always win her at wrestling. |

Why? Once they get women's clothing up and running, that's really all you need to dress up your new found companion. Somehow, I don't think he will complain. Just a hunch. |

I also recommend bathing her with nanite paste, so she can properly enjoy a spa treatment. (In the possible event this physically reanimates her, your crew can administer an IV or feeding tube at regular intervals)
Now, nanite paste combined with a repurposed drone control rig, you can help her to model the stunning fashions smoothly.
I dunno. I don't want to change her. I like her quiet strength. |

Mechael wrote:With corpse collecting having been one of EVE's most amazing features for so damned long, the "meat locker" idea just makes sense. Do it, CCP.
After all, aren't you guys making some sort of sick and twisted vampire game at some point in the future? I'll be disturbed if such a game isn't at least three times as twisted as some silly little meat locker.
In a locker? so uncouth. Our companions deserve the same respect that we all receive. The crew might complain after a few days, but they usually just take her on a brief spacewalk and everything smooths over (she does so without a suit! she's so brave!) . Other than that, Chloe is usually ok with staying wherever she is placed. |

Make us stuff that will scare the willies out of people. I can't wait until people can visit my gallery. I just wish they'd allow in-station PVP so I can collect AND show off at the same time!

EVE-Harmony will be the perfect way for ladies such as Chloe to meet their dashing princes like Joelinux.
I now understand that out there in space floats my true one, who waits for me to rescue her from her loneliness in the blackness of space.
She will be like many other jewels in the heavens, but meant only for me, to spend our eternities together!
I might name her Asuka, that has a good sound. Perhaps she has a name she would choose instead?
I would suggest you pop a Rifter for your companion. They usually have the best-looking results after podding. |

I'd avoid caldari drones though, they put the wh*re in hornet the nasty little things. Now if you will exuse me, I'm off to Victronic Secret to get some plate mail g-strings for my bloodthirsty babes to fight for me in.
I tried using drones as companions. Their metallic outside was like licking a flagpole. Granted, Chloe is just as frigid after her daily spacewalk, but at least she warms up after a few hours... |

Staring out of the bridge, just me and her gazing into the stars while the ships's strip miners tear away at asteroids... It's nice to have someones company who will be there and listen to you, since this event... I have found the love of my life. A fellow miner who enjoys fleeting up with me, and doesn't mind coming back to the station with me. We've talked for hours and made millions of isk. I even convinced her to get a haircut, it's a little short but hair just grows back. Since then, I have been torn between her and Angela... but only time will tell. It never hurts to have 2 love lifes... as long as the other does not find out about the other
You can make ISK with anyone. True love is someone who will listen to you. For hours. Without blinking. Or breathing. |

I will pay 5 million for the corpse I choose as my latest love. Please Eve-mail me a story that details the personality and attractive features of the companion you are giving me. I will make my choice in one week's time.
Of course, either way, due to the fact that I'm going to have tons of companions, whoever I choose as my number one companion will have to learn how to share me.
So, again: contact to me in Jita 4-4, Evemail me a story about the companion, and if you win, I'll give you 5 mil.

- I like this idea, make it a chamber where you could put 4-6 of your favorite corpses into. their suspended, floating in big glass cylinders (you could use the players existing character modeling) and you can add optional clothing (mind you minimum clothing would automatically be rendered). Mind you, you would have to install the facility into each cabin at a specific station? Only available in low or Null sec (Concord might take exception to this).
- You could also do the floating head scenario as well. Insert corpse into anitem slot, get a floating head in a jar in your main cabin room. Limit 1 jar per person.
Kinda cool.
I personally wanna install an exotic dancer in my captains quarters... Complete with pole and naughty holo vid...

Me too! How about having a harem of "companions".
You could talk about life with them, maybe even have therapy sessions for those having trouble in their new-found relationships. (Companions seem to not be very talkative. It leads to lack of intimacy.)
On a related note, I think people should be able to love whoever they love for any reason. Just because some inconsiderate pilots start calling you names like, "necrophiliac" "corpse-humper", etc. doesn't mean they are right. They don't understand our love! Just because she's never moved, or breathed, or said anything, or even said, "no" doesn't make her a corpse. She's real to me!
*sniff*
Some pilots are a bunch of meanie heads.
Also in related news, if you come across anyone from the Marmite Collective, be sure and make some "companions". They will keep you company on those lonely nights. |

I want Chloe to feel and look sexy. that my friend is called necrophilia :P

and it could be a new in-game profession - dating agency! No doubt you would be 'cold calling' prospective partners.at least half the time...just don't be -šurprised how often it goes to voicemail...
Eh...I've been on enough blind dates. No need to get the cold shoulder from someone you've paid to be set up with... |

Who are we to place such labels, as alive and dead... Perhaps Chloe is less active, after having semi retired from active piloting. New romances often inspire changes in habits, like that!
Yes...our companions have graciously retired to be with us. Retired from piloting, sweating, moving, breathing, etc. |

Back to the front page with Chloe.
My true love. Though she may be quiet, and giving off quite a stink, I will never be separated. Though the Guristas might take her from me in her holds after an hour spacewalk with no suit, I will find her, and take her back.
Our conversations are terribly one-sided, and she gives me the cold shoulder. And face, and arm, and elbow...I will never stop loving her. |

Yes. Come to find out, Chloe has "that look" that is fairly universal. She was a special girl. The new Chloe is also a great listener too... |

How dare you give away my secret plans! Now I'll never get VC funding!
And Corpse? Please. They are companions. If it were corpses, the things we've done would be disturbing. Do I sound disturbing to you? |
