Hello.
So, I'm back into the game after a few years and what I see is that my 2 other characters on this account were removed. Is it a regular thing?
They were just some alts to check the market, to scout and what not.
It is a VERY slight possibility I deleted them myself before stopping to play eve, but I can hardly come up with a reason to.

That's what happened. CCP has never deleted any player character for any reason, ever.
(Note that I made a very sweeping statement here and it might be possible that there's an exception in the history of EVE, which no doubt someone will point out within minutes after I post this general statement, but I am absolutely sure you are not that exception and CCP did not delete your characters.)

It has been my experience over the years that if a company does do wipes of inactive characters they wouldn't just take a part of the inactive characters on an account, they would just wipe the entire account. I mean really, all the characters are on the same account so what reason could they possible have for deleting just those characters?
Since I have seen many posts of people coming back to the game after years and their account still being there, I am going to go out on a limb and say that CCP doesn't wipe inactive accounts and if you are missing to characters it is because you deleted them before you left.

Thanks for the replies, I'd have petitioned it, but every petition for me takes absurd amount of time to get reply to, so I just posted it here.
I still don't get why I would've deleted them =\

IIRC (and I may not)...
Char wipes take out the lowest SP chars on accounts, leaving the single highest SP char.
I could be wrong here though but I do recall hearing that once a while back. ===================================== It smells of spoon! ===================================== |

I'd expect character wipes to be restricted to zero-SP characters. I've been away a year, too, and I'm pretty sure I had an alt who'd done nothing at all; that's gone now, and I didn't make any conscious decision to stop playing, just drifted away after not being able to play for a couple of weeks, so I can't see why I'd delete it. I only had the one, so I didn't need to 'make room'.
It matters not one whit to me, aside from insatiable curteosity.

This is the first time I've read any reference to "char wipes", and I spend a ridiculous amount of time on the forums.

That is impossible. It required for you to be actively playing in order for that problem to have hurt you. What that problem was the item IDs were not being recycled correctly so market transactions were not working correctly nor was fitting and unfitting stuff, because the server was not freeing up item ids for the next item.
This meant you had to be logged in and actually playing. It could have happened if a market order of yours was accepted, but if you haven't been playing for more than a year then that is very unlikely.
I wasn't logged in at all during that time and absolutely nothing wrong happened to my characters.
It sounds like you deleted your characters and forgot. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. Always ascertain the vintage of the first two.

Edit: Checked assets and there are some frigs named after one of my alts at Rens, among other stuff belonging to him.
OK - if these ships were in the Ships Hangar for ANOTHER character - that might well be an indication that you had transferred the other guys stuff to this character. The common reason for doing that - is - that someone was going to delete the character they took the stuff from. Why else would this guy have all that other guys stuff?

To my knowledge CCP has never deleted inactive chars unless they break some rule etc.
What were their names?

I frankly can't remember my alt's name; it was a few moments of futzing around, nothing more.
