Edited by: Vestpa on 02/11/2010 01:20:58 I have just come back to eve-online after a very long break. Say 3 to 4 years break. I have 100m skill points, and I have all class ships maxed with caldari including tier 3 with subsystems at 4. I've always been terrible at making isk so this is where I need your help if you will. Im looking for mainly simple general information for each type of way to make money. Im a lone wolf type person so I like to do things solo, at least for now to get myself back on my feet. I have 2 billion isk left on this account.
Agent Missions: How much money can be made per hour with a .5 high sec level 4, level 5, and faction warfare agents? How much can be made with 0.0 lvl 4 and 5 agents per hour? Are tier 3 ships the best ships to use for lvl 4 and possibly 5?
Worm holes: How much can be made with c1 - c6 wormholes per hour? Which ones can be done solo?
NPCING: How much can be made in low sec vs. 0.0? What class ship is best to use? Tier 3 if you can risk it?
Trading: How much can be made with a freighter trading with npc stations? What else can you tell me about this?
RD agents: I can't believe how badly these suck =/ I didn't touch mine for 2 years and I only made 75m average per agent with electronic engineering. I mean, 2 years! for just 75m per agent.... wtf.
What else can I do to make passive isk except for investing in other corporations?
Are there any useful 3rd party links I can review that gives information on agents, best fittings for running agent missions, ect?? Guides to make money? Any information you can provide would be great and appreciated. Thanks.
Has anyone bought one of those 3rd party guides such as Eve-Billionare that guarentees you to become rich if you buy their guide? Is it true? Can anyone give a review?

I'll just answer the questions...
Agent missions: About 15m/hr at the top, with a major reward every month or so
Worm holes: no clue
Npcing: 20m/hour and if you are in a decent ship you can hop systems looking for faction spawns, probably 50m/hr if not more doing that.
freighter trading: Do you realise how many people do this? No.
The truth of the matter is, anyone who is fabulously rich didn't do any of these things. You have to find your own 'thing' and make some money, no one is going to tell you how to get rich, as it will usually directly infringe upon their business. I'm certainly not going to tell you how I make money..
(p.s I don't think dr caymus had 100m sp 4 years ago...) ---------------------------

You're doing it wrong. I make quite a bit more with FW missions per hour, near 100m to 150m in navy assets roughly per hour.
CCP are such noobs these days.

Guys, worm holes weren't in the game 3 years ago.. I am just curious as to how much one can make in an hour including loot... not just the bounty or the mission isk reward..
Could you be more specific.. like how much lvl 4 yields including the good loot or even just the LP reward such as the battleship. Also, how long does it take to obtain that faction battleship for the big reward? 3 - 4 hours? What about level 5 missions? Same question?
Including loot, how much can you make in a wormhole? The ones you can do solo or with 3 people or something? And NPCING, how much does that yield in an hour on average including loot + bounty?
Just trying to relearn the game after a long break.. Theres a thing called inflation. This economy is run by the players and the market can change. This game has evolved. Just lookin for tips on the new evolved and changing game.

C5 WH you can make 60-100+mill an hour, averaged out at maybe 80 mill
Depends on your corp and the abilities they bring with them.

Welcome back to EvE I would keep away from the market untill familiar with EvE again or you actualy might lose money there. Why not read a WH guide, see how it works out and then decide. A good point to start and since its new for you maybe also interesting.

Make 2 alts. Declare war on 3 big soft corps with each one. Ask them for a few hundred mill to retract it. Give them a day or 2. Kill one or two of them if you want. Steal a bio from another corp thats bad and mercenary like and put it in yours beforehand. Repeat until rich.
If you have multiple accounts make 4, 6, 8 ...

Decent LP in empire with a few quick skills is 5000 LP per mission a Faction BS form LP store is 500-600k LP so about 100 missions should buy you a Faction BS
Wormholes.
Class 1-2-3 can be done solo
Drake is the optimal choice for C1-2 or a HAC. Isk Pr Hr im unsure as never done them. You will need a T3 to solo a C3 with decent speed and you can make 150 mil an hour doing these. I live in a C3 so this is a good accuracy.
Class 4-5-6 need fleets and I mean HUGE fleets for the Class 5-6, Never done one of these as our corp doesn't quite have the correct ships however we are very soon to be carrier pilots. Yes you do need carriers...

You have 2 billion isk - you don't need more isk to start having fun. Buy some cool ships, blow stuff up. 2 billion will last a good while and then think about boring isk making after you get down to 500 mil.

Eve is this way only because people like you choose to make it so. ie the harshness of Eve is a direct reflection of the behaviour of those who play it, not the game itself.
Some of us walk a different path.

How exactly can you make 100M doing lvl 4 missions ? What ship ? I was thinking to try wormholes C3 solo in 2 Tengus. I would just load them with lots of missiles, same probes, scan for C3 WH, clear all the combat sites, find another C3 and so on. When missiles are gone, find way out, buy new ones and repeat. Is it possible to do it like that or you need POS ? I am not sure about fitting covert cloak - dps is much lower.

it's highly unlikely he can make 100m/hour in lvl4 missions if he thinks that spending LP on faction battleships is a good idea...
that being said TriadSte's comment is remarkably vague and allows for "dualboxing lvl4s for some pirate faction" (as the "in empire" qualification is only introduced after the 100m/hour number is thrown around).

To answer your questions :
You "can" do wormholes that way yes as sleeper salvage/loot is tiny you can fit a billion isk worth in a 170m3 cargo bay, You do not need a POS to wormhole jump but as you already stated ammo is the main issue. Maybe get a Viator or similar ship which can cloak but also carry a good volume of missiles.
However Pi is amazing in WH space and is a good incentive to setup a POS in a nice WH with plenty of sites and also make alot of ISK in Pi as a passive income.
How do you make 100 mil an hour in lvl4 missions?
Answer is easy, do them right and you'll get those type of figures.
Only ever kill the decent bountied ships, leave frigates alone. Only ever go into missions to complete the objective don't waste time killing ships that have no effect on mission completion time like those pesky frigates.
With a good ship even the "long" missions are cut short, Blockade, Worlds Collide etc are very quick if done properly.
Ship I use when I do mission is a CNR or a Proteus. The CNR is fully rigged with Rigor T2 and T1 with everything being a mix of faction and deadspace.
To get "good" mission times T2 doesn't cut the grade, you really do have to spend money to earn money in Eve.

You begged/borrowed/bought a 100m SP character, PLEX for 2B, and you still need your hand held to play the game?
You have more than enough buffer to try a little of everything and see what works.
