But, paging Chribba! Please add l/p ratio and rank to EVE-Search, so we can see the best and worst poasters.
L/P = lines per post or what is that? (you have the characters/post already)

I don't really track likes per post, simply because I only index each post once, likes per post would require me to update/scan ALL posts all the time. Hence this will be quite impossible from my side, unless I actually re-scan all posts that I check - which in that case only happens as long as the thread stays on the first page (or in some foums, the first 3 pages).
I do however track likes overall, so that I think is the closest we can come - you could always use that to divide by total number of posts to get a sort of "like average" however we'd need to get a formula to use to make it usable, else you'd get someone to make one post and get 10 likes on that and you'd have a pretty good average compared to those of us that posted well before likes were introduced.

Regardless of your start date you can still compete. I took a 2 year break and I'm still up in the rankings. Dark Shikari is still taking a break since over 4 years ago and he's barely been surpassed by one poster Well that's because Dark Shikari wasn't human. Even so I figure if Floppy ups his post per day but a factor of 8 he should be able to close the gap very quickly. Apparently I bounced up to 322 in the past hour. Chribba: the likes/post thing could just take total likes / total posts. No need to index anything extra. A simple list of "most likes" would be interesting as well. Lyris Nairn is the top likes with over 10,000 likes and Mag's coming in 2nd with almost 10,000, Tippia is soon passing 9000 as 3rd.

Also, Posts per day is a terrible metric as it counts since character creation date. Top the all time most post in a single day:

Hmmmm.... I'm pretty sure I've done much higher numbers than that. Especially on controversial dev blog days. You sure you didn't lose some data or misform the query? -Liang Ed: Either way, maybe it means I have a life. >:-) Query should be proper, the only thing I would think of then, would be if indeed those controversial days, it has been many posts removed during the time of the index run that missed out on posts - in which case it indeed would be showing wrong values (however if you do dig up such a day do let me know and I will dig into it, so I can take your life back away from you lol)

@Richard, I found the barge fairy tale thread where you have many posts - 11.4% of them - http://eve-search.com/stats/thread/137125-1 - but that's not the one I think?
