What ship for all situations... Considering the site de spawns when interacted with. And NPC's spawn also. What ships do you use? Just returning need some catching up... Thanks any info..

There aren't any ships for all situations, which is one of the reasons so many people are in Corporations or have alts.
The Ships and Modules forum would have information on fittings.

As the previous poster said there really isn't such a ship for all occasions. Being Minmatar I use a Probe to scan down sites & I have an arty fitted Thrasher nearby to deal with any nasties. This works well in high sec but If you're going into low sec where the enemy are bigger I'd go for a cruiser with long range weapons. Kite 'em at 12km where they can't hurt you much & pop 'em at your leisure. "All the strangers on trains look like they're going away again, on holiday (why didn't I?)." |

Hurricane BC
6x720mm arty (or AC if you must but I like versatility of arty) 1x Sisters Expanded Core Launcher w/ sisters probes 1x Salvager (or Hacking Module, whatever you fit keep the other in cargo)
AB/MWD shield booster shield boost amplifier invul field
3x gyros 2x tracking enhancers 1x nano rigs: to taste (I like scanning strength rig though)
This is of course a fit for hi-sec. If you want to do low sec there are some modifications you have to make and some tricks of the trade that I'm you're best served figuring out yourself.
You are going to need really good scanning skills though. Like, lvl 4 in all relevant scanning skills. You also need to know what the signatures mean and change your utility high slot so you have the right module for the job.

For All situations....none really. "All" covers an awful lot of ground, Radar/Mag/ Grav/ Ladar sites. Wh's, 0.0/ low/ high sec etc.
However one of the "best" ( personal opinion time) for general- purpose low sec exploration is the Pilgrim. Can fit Cloak+ salvager+ neut/ laser+probe launcher in high.
Prop+hack+analizer+cap in mids.
Whatever type of tank you want in lows ( I prefer speed over armour, but it depends on taste)
Drones do the killing (yay drones).
It is a very flexible ship, can run all low sec radar+mag sites with ease. Can run combat sites but will have trouble with the tougher ones tbh. And possibly the most survivable (in regards to camps etc.) of any low sec exploration ship. (Curse works too, but you lose the covops cloak, and that is a huge trade-off).
The exact fit is dependent on what you are after in particular, and how you like to fly. Practice with an Arbitrator if you like, it can do most of the same but just not as well/ easily.
T3 if you have the isk to burn, and especially if you want to do combat sites. |
