I mean the ones that were supposed to be flocking to the game once learning skills were so disgracefully eliminated. Are all those new players still playing Wow? Are they on Christmas vacation? Were all the learning skill removal supporters lying/clueless about one of their base reasons for justifiying what was basically a gargantuan attribute increase as a reward for whining? I'm confused.

Did you mean secondary characters on the primary account? That would make sense. I wouldn't have figured that for the prime motivation behind some of the specious arguments for eliminating the skills though. But it does seem there are more alts lately so probably you are right and thats all it was really about.

Quote: How many kinds of stupid are you? How long would it take to work out? The answer is it would take too long, so here is a good idea for you. Step away from your keyboard, step outside your home and find the nearest public highway. Guess what comes next......
And just to be on topic, if there are new players, just how in the hell do you think you are going to find them? You think all of them are going to come knocking on your pod to introduce themselves?
Or maybe you are one of these sad deluded individuals who thinks that EVERYONE who plays EVE comes on these forums. I got news for you, neither of the above is going to happen. As to the last section of your post, well.....I can't even begin to find work safe words to describe you. So I won't.
At first I thought this reply was funny and amusing but then I read some of your last posts and you pretty much say the same thing over and over. Now I find you boring and dull. Anyway player numbers haven't gone up, newb corp I'm in is still alt central and people with elf names are posting to my thread. I say learning skill removal was a total fail.

I'm still waiting for them! I guess all the anti-learning skills supporters were wrong when they made that claim. Oh well. On a related note kudos to CCP for maintaining the server population stat with integrity and fortitude. I remember EQ hiding their player numbers early on even before Sony really started ruining the game. And the real reason for me posting again; What do you guys think the chances are of CCP admitting that removing learning skills was a mistake and re-implementing them?

Tippia, do you really believe if no players had made mention of learning skills they would still have been removed? Anyway I need to correct my most recent post on this subject in that removing learning skills really isn't the issue for me so much as the way it was done, what it represents as far the developers new paradigm for the game and mostly the incredible attribute increase for starting players which I (having played since 2005) find disconcerting to say the least. There is no reason to discuss the first person shooter mentality that this attribute increase caters to because it is a done deal. But the players numbers have not increased by a noticable measure (though I believe there is a slight increase on certain days) so perhaps rather than bringing back learning skills the attribute increase should be scaled back or eliminated. That would make the most sense to me.
