Over half the threads i see here are moved or locked. The server crashes, you make a thread going "oh come on ccp, not again!" and its locked? is that not a valid topic for discussion? if not why not
Can whichever mod who has hours of free time on his hands to sit here and locked every thread 10 min after its started not be doing something with his time that would actually help the game? Like maybe fix some of these problems all the threads are about? Monitor all the racist insults in amarr and rens local?
Seems like if you asked the customer base what the 100 biggest problems facing Eve are, "someone needs to rule GD with an iron fist" would not be on anyone's list. Or maybe that's just me

It's called censorship, mate. First cousin to propaganda. Make sure the masses only see and hear what you WANT them to see and here. Squash dissent at every turn. Eliminate all transparency. Keep internal communications from the public view so that no full record can be made.
Get used to it.
CCP is only doing what real world governments are doing.
One world order and all that. First the speech is curtailed, then the currency combined, finally the law is all encompassing and individuals and individual nations cease to exist.
Notice that the CCP loves the Caldari?
It fits that mold perfectly.

it is a valid topic for discussion, however people come to the forums and we usually end up with a bunch of threads, and dupe threads get axed

Most commonly because it's not actually a discussion, but just spam and/or duplicate threads. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

0/10, too obvious (and will be locked)
i did enjoy the implication that the forum moderators would be excellent at fixing server crashes and bugs though, so you've got promise _____________________ Look down. Back up. Where are you? You're on a forum, with the alt your alt could post like. |

It IS just you, Jason.
The moderators charged with overseeing the forums - a truly thankless job if there ever was one - lock the (typically dozens of) duplicate threads about any particular subject, and almost always refer readers to an existing thread about the topic. This happens pretty much daily. I imagine the intent is more one of organization than of suppression and censorship, since you can always post your unoriginal comments in that existing thread.
No, your whine comes across more as an admission that you had no original thought about the server crash and, instead of risking your post being drowned in the sea of posts that were probably much better than yours in an existing thread, you felt the need to post your 'original and superlative' comment in yet another wasted thread.
You, and many others like you, need to realize that you just aren't that special. It's OK just to read the posts of others and agree or disagree without having to virtually open your mouth.
A famous quote generally attributed to Confucius observes that it is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove that you are.
You have fallen into that latter category.

That would be Abraham Lincoln:
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

Actually, it's been attributed to many, many people, including Abraham Lincoln, Confucius, the bible and Socrates

Please note discussions of moderation are not permitted on these forums. If you do wish to discuss a moderators action, the best way to do that is to file a petition.
Also note that it is against the forum rules to repeatedly open threads on the same locked topic, as a lot of the time they contain no content.
