Currently shuttles go base 500 m/s and hold 10 m3.
Thats low after you get into the game...
Maybe there could be advanced shuttles or a skill to increase the cargo of shuttles.
Suggested skills: Micromanagement: Ability to perfectly utilize limited space. (Perhaps for all ships +3% cargo per level or if for shuttles only +5[not %] cargo per level) Shuttle Piloting: Ability to utilize the interface between the pilot and the shuttle. +5 Cargo per level and/or +5% Velocity per level. Shuttles: Ability to fly advanced shuttles.

I believe CCP have this as a corporate skill at level 50 with various specialties including, knee jerk nerfing level 49, idiotic patch concepts lvl 30, moronic automated email lvl 44, to name but a few. Strangly though the micromanagment specialtys of speedy petition resolution is only lvl 1, as is accurate petition resolution, helpful DM is only lvl 2 and its actually believed to be this high by use of an alt!
P.S. CCP if yopu actually read this I am only joking and love you all dearly and beleive that all you do is spend your time working on positive game improvements and not counting cash accumulated by the "we will fix it soon (TM)" keeping acounts thus activated longer.

i think they should be a t2 shuttle
It should use a jump drive and have only 10 cargo hold
should use morphite or somthing pos can build as fuel for the jump drive so u can't just jump in to one and move things slowly for free |

I think there should just be a proper transport system that's allows players to get from A-B quickly, though with some restrictions that doesn't resort to clone jumping and caters for implant users.

Actually I think that there should be different classes of shuttles, maybe a t2 slection too. sci-fi is littered with large industrial type ship which are not slow and cumbersome, Eureka Marau, Millenium Falcon, and so on.
More shuttles models with increasing capacity. Plus skills developement for them would be a real bonus.
That said I myself use a kestrel for hauling, as with the changes of late they are useless for anything else.
It would be nice to have some fast high cargo cap shuttles for those important runs, plus it would give the interceptor pilots something fast to intercept. and thus stop them from bugging us humble Raven pilots.

Implant users get faster training at a cost of not being able to clone jump long distances.
Both cost money,implant prices are a bit high yet its well balanced.

Personally, I would like to see a shuttle expanded into a scouting/exploration vessel. CPU sized for, and scan time bonus to use of the Scan Probe Launcher (Sig Analysis?). Cap size/recharge to allow the use of MWDs (advanced shuttles?).
1 High Slot 3-4 Mid Slots, 2 Low Slots,
Boost in cargo capacity to hold Scan Probes, say 12 total, plus launcher loadout. Just so I can cut that 10000km travel time down to < 2hrs

A shuttle is a shuttle. Mess around with it and its no longer a shuttle.

I've always thought it strange that there are no required skills to fly a shuttle. Just find the cheapest shuttle where you're at, jump in, and away you go.
As a minimum, I think you should have Frigate Level 1 in the appropiate faction (Amarr, Gallente, etc.) in order to fly their shuttles.
Now if they decide to give you pluses to cargo capacity and/or speed per level of frigate, I'm not going to complain.....
Other than this, I don't think shuttles should be modified.

Heh, I just realized that 2x overdrive injectors and 1x alpha cargo expander
gives 500 m/s base speed and allows u to hold 118m3 -Nirat
