I have access to great planets in 0.0 and can extract massive amounts of certain P1 products.
This has 2 big advantages: 1. Do not have to move products between planets 2. I can extract the maximum quantities possible.
I have a jump freighter and can easily get the products to Jita. Seems to me this is the most efficient PI extraction. Any thoughts or comments?
Thanks.

I recommend using 1 planet to turn your P1 products into P2s. a little bit more work, but it cuts down a lot on the M3 your JF is carrying, meaning you can haul more stuff per trip, aka more money per trip.

1) have mining planets and convert that to P1 there [1LP 2ECU 5BF] 2) find the smallest radius world and make a manufacturing planet [i.e. 4LP 20AF etc] 3) export p1 to planet in 2 produce all advanced stuff there |

Edited by: Mapets on 24/08/2011 13:22:44 I do live in 0.0, have a jf and am doying PI, however.... most eficient wey is to have each individual planet have output of tier 2 products If u still want to go further up the rank: -make a planet with processors only (would involve spending more time hauling) or -pair the ones u have of rank 2 for example, 2 by 2 adding 1 extra processor of higher rank on each, would keep a decent enough output at a 5-7 day cycle on the extractors (this is how i have mine).
also, every time u go start the cycles on the extractors don`t forget to check the concentrations on them as they shift over time on the planet surface.(faster if more players have extractors close to yours)

This can work, so long as you don't mind hauling a greater volume of stuff. Some P1 goods are indeed worth more than their P2 products. Precious metals spring to mind. Just make sure you do the math before you set everything up... Totally not a price-check alt. |
