I use med tech II weapons cuz they will take out a bs pretty well and they track frigs and cruisers very well no need for tracking mods however you can remove a cap power relay out of the low slot and add a tracking enhancer that repair will run non stop with good engineering and repair systems skill and tank very good when your cap gets to about 45% just turn off some weapons leave the repair and hardners running and it will recharge once you hit 75% cap or more start up weapons again dual large repairs is not a smart set up i see this all the time and have run many many test with pvp and mission npc and single repair and double or triple hards is the way to go more resistance = less boosting
Please, take a breath!
I was wondering on a Gallente ship for Lvl4s. What I can use now its sniper mega with 5x mag stabs and such, ab, sensor booster, 2x trackjing comp 2 ... what can i say.. works very well against Serpentis, shooting from 100km and stuff. But, I can't do deadspaces - I think. Tried a coupld of times and failed. True, that right now my gunnery skills improved some, over 2 mill now (only generic and hybrid). Not so great but compared to the 60k when I started lvl3-4 missions its good :)) No specializations I have to say so no t2 guns. :( What I am afraid most r the small ships that keep me from jumping out when theres a problem. And I am afraid of using only drones, not very good .. I gotta wait while everyone attacks me to deploy drones, that means sometimes I gotta tank for a long time Serp being close range and some take their time to get to me and start shooting. This is why I thought of the foll. setup, tell me if anyone tried it:
7x ion blaster (some t1, not VERY expensive for now, I'm poor), heavy nos ab 2, web, 2x cap recharger 2 large rep t2, 2x kin 1x therm hardeners, 1600mm plate, 2x cpr.
This would allow me to run all this for a long time (well like 3-5 mins, should be enuff to shoot many cruisers). Why I thought of this setup is that with some luck perhaps i can shoot webbed frigs (although wouldn't bet on it, not ceptors for sure). Oh well can deploy a few drones too, atleast I should be able to hit the cruisers (especially webbed) very well given the decent tracking of ions.. I may not be able to do like angel extra or duo of death but in a normal mission where i got lets say 1 bs and 8 cruisers and a few frigs this should kinda work, killin the cruisers quickly then my tank is enuff to keep the BS. Or something like that. :) Please give some feedback. I dont like the 350mm setup, tried it and cant hit a freakin webbed cruiser if hes close, and Serp likes to come close in those blaster megas and raxes... only Domis like to stay away but thats the ab for.
Other setup I would think of would be a 6x dual 250mm domi with lotsa drones (heavy & medium) but i am not sure i could break a BS's tank with 6x dual 250s + 13 heavy drones. I *think* tha ion mega with the mix of med & heavies would deal more damage... domi can have decent tank... perhaps still not best.. but ****ty dmg. :(
