Now that CCP officially stopped, scrapped and buried even conceptual work on more WiS content, I was looking for a candidate with a pro-WiS stance. But there isn't a single one. Everyone of them said that the current "balancing" between spaceships and Incarna content, i.e. 100% spaceships and 0% WiS, is either "about right" or that there should be even more focus on spaceships (more than 100%, yeah?).
So I gave my votes to two candidates who at least don't seem to be completely opposed to having some WiS development around:

How many candidates did people vote for? I chose my top 7. since the drop off in shared opinions gets a bit steep after that. I was tempted to focus on the top couple of matches, but some of the choices had slim nominations, so I wanted to vote for strong contenders too. |

1. Malcanis 2. Psychotic Monk 3. Mangala Solaris 4. Ripard Teg 5. Riverini 6. Trebor 7. Steve Ronuken Very similar to how I voted, with the exception of Malcanis. He reeks of nullberries. Yeah. Malcanis comes across as someone from the nullsec block.
Might be, but imo he is the best of all for lowsec. And about small gang pvp u cant miss either voting for him. And at the end he knows about EVE lots of things. LF CSM8 candidate. Are you what lowsec needs? --->-átinyurl.com/afaawrb

I endorse Steve Ronuken and Trebor from a high sec player. I believe they have strong PVE, indy/hauling and mining reform stances too. |

Yeah first 3 i put for lowsec and pvp. But the last 4 i think can do a great thing for EVEonline, especially PVE/indy wise (more content). LF CSM8 candidate. Are you what lowsec needs? --->-átinyurl.com/afaawrb

Not a lot perhaps, but a damn-sight more than other MMOs grant.
Like i said in my post the CSM isn't exactly going to revolutionise the game CCP will still roll out what they want its just a pretty way of making out that they listen :P
These days the game is more about getting subscriptions on the table, if that means dumbing down the game and making it safer then they will (and in several instaces have) roll out the changes they see fit |

Will admit, so far this years elections have been rather tame.
Mind you I think CCP has underestimated the number of bloc candidates to normal people.
And while no vote is wasted, a lot of wasted votes from last year, were to set up a mandate so not really wasted anyway, as they were a deliberate show of strength. Vote Now My recommendations are:-á 1.James Arget 2.Ayeson 3.Nathan Jameson 4.Cipreh 5.Chitsa Jason 6. Malcanis 7. Mike Azariah 8. Ripard Teg 9. Mangala Solaris 10. Ali Aras |
