Before build 1165, drones would attack whatever ship you activated your weapons on to. And they would keep putting the hurt on that ship until it was destroyed.
Now post 1165, drones do the same thing, but if you shoot another ship, they immediately go after the new target. Even if the first one isn't finished off.
The problem with this is the fact that I can no longer activate to attack other ships unless I want my drones to stop what they are doing.
To avoid any further confusion or arguments. Could you just make drones ONLY attack ships that you command them to attack. Instead of this whole, whatever ship you fire on thing.
Cool thanks.

If this is to happen (only attack those which manually commanded to attack) can you make it so you can send all/a selection of drones at the same time, i.e. an "all attack" command or something!?! (Otherwise it takes too long to send each drone out seperately)
Same with mining drones.... "all mine repeatedly"

I prefere it how it was: Attack when weapons activated, stay on original target unless manually ordered to move. Making it manual only returns drones to their previous near useless level in PvP - you dont have time to fugg with manual commands.
Oh, and fix Scout drone operations, thanks. Level 4 and I cant attack anything manually thats over 19km from me.

Yeah,
I like the way it was before better myself.
Sept if it has to be like before. Atleast make it to where you can manually issue a Return and Orbit command and afterwards, they will attack a new target when you activate a weapon.
The old way, if you issued a Return and Orbit command, you would have to scoop them all up again before they would ever attack another target.
