I think CCP might sson be getting 3 accounts worth 'o cash from me
So they give the new bloodlines uber attributes so thos of us who have been playing since day one who knew bugger all about attributes get shafted? does this mean a few years down the line were going to have such a disadvantage in our attributes that our characters become useless?
It's all about balance you see, I heard they are able to give the new bloodlines such good attributes because they are knocking them off 1+ year accounts so all the complaining newbies can catch up. Balance, balance, balance - It won't be long before all the vet's have an across the board 1.7 base stat set, with a 2.5 in charisma for generosities sake. After all we have got to look at the big picture here mate, I mean you've been playing since day one? Why the hell does that entitle you to have more skillpoints than a guy podding in yesterday hey?? Give them 10mill sp to spend how they like after completing the tutorial, wait, at the beginning then there is no need to do the tutorial. Throw in a free battleship and a backrub and I think the newbie player base will be content.

By the by, when things hit Sisi (sp?) whats the usual time frame before they get on to Tranq? Or is it generally dependant on what the update is?

well it entitles me to have more skillpoints because ive spent roughly ú330 ($580) more than that person, i think thats quite fair.
I know that text-only forums can't communicate sarcasm, but that was just SO blatant that you can't possibly take him seriously.
Possible but the fact its a disposalt / noob makes me think otherwise
and
Many a true word is said in jest
As my mother would say.
It was written light-heartedly honestly now, 10 mill skillpoints at char creation? That's ludcrous...
Make it 20 for rouding up's sake.

Originally by: Kyguard And the people who have all their slots filled up once again get the shaft. And no, I can't delete them since they have quite a number of SPs.
CCP have a function where you can go through the creating process even if your slots are all filled up.
I'd say three slots is quite generous, could easily have given only one with Eve's skill system. If you just want to play around with the new bloodlines in character creation then set up a trial account and go to town.

Read carefully if you're going to post please. I said that Eve needs to allow players to go through the character creation process without having an open slot. I never mentioned the amount of char slots that we need.
Okay sorry just assumed from:

my bad, but still it only takes a few minutes to set up a trial account if you want to play around with char creation and its a minor inconvenience at the most.

I don't mean to derail the thread but, I thought trial accounts aren't allowed to be obtained by veteran players?
Oh, really? Didn't know that. I mean it seems to be the most logical way to set up a second account.

I know im probably alone with this, but does anyone else think that its a just a little ironic how when a new player comes onto the boards and blurts something along the lines of ôbleh, eve is lame I can never catch up so whatÆs the pointö all (or the majority) of the vets jump in with how little skill points actually matter - which if I can add quickly, is something I agree with. Yet when it comes to the new bloodline attributes and the fact that newer or restarting players might be able to train a bit quicker than previously possible a lot of the older guys jump all over it like the apocalypse is coming...
My intentions aren't to derail this thread into another 'should newbies be able to catch up?' thread, but I just wanted to make the point that maybe some people are over reacting just a little bit?
