You can retrieve 1x Sample of Septicemic Agent at Contested Minmatar Army Complex, just kill and loot until item drops.

Yes, I spent many hours in that complex killing and looting, but in order to get to the last area of the complex, apparently I need to find a "repaired keycard". This will allow me access to the room where I hope I will find the drop. I have looked at every website relevant, but have been unable to find it. |

I understand your frustration, especially since I completed Cosmos years ago. Over the years of running Cosmos, I (and other players) have updated and added info to this Evelopedia page which is complete to the best of my knowledge.
https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/COSMOS
It lists all the Cosmos Agents, their locations, amount of standing required (modified) and important notes on each agent such as needing to speak to a different agent first, etc.
This is a Wayback Machine - Internet Archive of a guide I used when I did the Minmatar Cosmos. The text / info tips are still available however the pictures of the Agent mission briefings won't render.

Quote: Agent: Fynnir Torsont Required item: Sample of Septicemic Agent : Location : Traun - Contested Minmatar Military Outpost - Overrun Corridor
Sample of Septicemic Agent can be found in one of the Cybertron wrecks.
Here's another guide I used to cross reference which has the info / tips written in German language (I used Google Translate) however the pictures of the Agent mission briefings do render and are written in English text.
http://www.hb3.info/cosmos/
Guess you can combine the two. Also here's a few other guides I used :
Amarr = https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Amarr_Cosmos_(Guide)
Caldari = http://www.scribd.com/doc/16401872/Cosmos-Missions-101
Angel & Guristas = http://dl.eve-files.com/media/0911/Carebear_COSMOS_Extreme_v1.2.pdf
When I did Cosmos, I'd first research through various guides as well as google info to make a list of the required items and their location for the specific Agent I was gonna run. After my list was complete I'd then try to collect all the items I could before even talking to the Agent. Some of the items I just couldn't find (after searching a few days to a week) and ended up just buying them from Public Contracts. Also there's a few select items that just can't be gained until the mission is actually accepted from the agent due to special site spawning.
Anyway, doing that I was able to complete all the missions and collect the Bonus rewards as well. Just make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to complete each agents mission series before you actually talk to them.
As for getting a 'Repaired Keycard', that's an item gained from Minmatar Agent Bukar Robaerger in order to complete his 3 part mission series : Transputer Orb
Good luck to you.

Hopefully you got the required item.
Main thing to remember about Cosmos Agents - Do not fail, quit, decline or let the mission offer expire. It may lock out access to other agents.
Probably best to start with the level 1 agents and work your way up. Most of the Caldari, Gallente and Minmatar Cosmos Agents can be done like that. Amarr Cosmos Agents are the exception. They are chained together, ie, a level 2 agent will send you to a level 1 agent who sends you to a level 3 agent, etc.
Cosmos missions are tougher than regular missions, basically a level 1 Cosmos mission is like a regular level 2 mission. Most of the missions are 'Seek and Retrieve' which includes doing combat. Don't be afraid to enlist help from friends if needed to complete them, especially when doing the higher level missions.
I really liked doing the Cosmos missions, they have a great story plot and some of the rewards are actually very good. Down side is these missions can only be completed once in your characters life. It's a bit tricky to run all of them but it can be done which I've outlined in 'The Plan'.
Good luck and much success to you. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
