I have had a petition in on one of my accounts since July 31st. It seems Paypal had no problem billing my account for payment, but CCP's crap crashed while trying to load the site and the account never got activated. There has been no response to the petition on the account.
Is there some way to get a bit better customer service than a stinking week? It'd be nice to either get the account activated or my paypal account credited.
Any ideas? |

Ok context:
Posting complaints about ticketed items in general discussion never ends well.

And how do you think us fellow capsuleers can help you.
You are yet another special snowflake that thinks he is the only person among 500k subs that has a petition open.
Patience my young Padawan...the only thing you should have.
A week is nothing, my longest petition took 1.5 month before the first reply and a total of nearly 3 month before it got fixed. However Ive had ones that got sorted in minutes.
It depends if you did it in the right category, the petition backlog and most of all how much investigation there has to be done on CCPs end.
In your case they will have to investigate if the payment was received, where it went wrong and then how to solve it.
So again, train Patience to V and wait.
Forum posting wont speed it up, using GD will certainly not help at all. Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

You waited six days.
Account and billing stuff can take rather a bit longer, in my experience. "Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

I would start with your mom, then move on to your aunt. If you're really really desperate for 15 bucks, you could resort to turning tricks for total strangers. Look out for pimps that try to stable you up though. You might get locked in, and that would seriously cut into your playing time.

You should unplug your computer, rebox it and take it back to whomever sold it to you. You are far too inept mentally to own such a device. It only confuses you and makes your day sad. Try riding a bicycle and visiting your local library. Those things called "books" are very easy to operate, and there's a librarian at the counter who would probably welcome some warm, disoriented conversation. All I can say is that sometimes petitions take several days to a week to process. You could file a claim through PayPal if you wish, but I would wait another week before taking that approach. If you really need access to the account ASAP you could pay for one more month (or do time for PLEX). Assuming everything happened as you said, CCP should untimely credit you for the original time once they get to your case. |

As posting about petitions of things of that nature results in a closed thread. I will be doing so. However, as this is an annoying issue, I am more than happy to give you the support staff's email. They can be reach at [email protected]. I hope your issue gets resolved. ISD Dorrim Barstorlode Captain Community Communication Liaisons (CCLs) Interstellar Services Department |
