Just fit a frigate up with "ZOOM ZOOM" with an extra helping of "DAKKA DAKKA."
It won't go well the first few times... but eventually someone will come along to help you "DAKKA" better.

What I'm doing right now is flying around lowsec in a ship and just tackling people (applying a scram and a web) and just seeing how long I can keep people scrammed before they blow me up. I bought a bunch of these frigates, so when I lose one I can go back to my staging system and get another, fairly quickly.
What I learned from speaking to others is, start losing ships, and whenever you lose one, ask whoever blew you up what you did wrong.

my stripped down frigate costs about 1.2 mil each. when I put guns and rigs on it, the value will be about 4 mil per.
4 mil per explosion (full T2 fitting on a T1 frigate) is cheap. you can make that back in about 20 minutes of hisec missioning.
Alternatively, Join Faction Warfare, and make isk for getting blown up and blowing other people up |

A T1 frigate for a newbie will set you back maybe around 1-2M tops. My T2 fitted frigates are usually around 10-15M ISK, which is something you definitely can lose on a daily basis.
There really is no other way to learn, other than taking out ships and practicing. You will die a lot in the beginning if you solo. You will die less if you have a corp and join fleets, but you will still die a lot. So fly cheap and fly reckless, and enjoy your time doing it.

After looking at the killboard, I'd say, you have gotten your share of practice.
So what exactly do you mean by "practice"? Is it more solo stuff? I see most of your kills are big fleets.
If it's solo, then what have been said still applies. Get into T1 frigates at first. And once, you've gotten comfortable, then upgrade the ship into other classes.
Try out FW space, unless you know some regions of null, where people usually fly frigate/cruisers sized ships. |

Getting used to PVP is a gradual process. But there's a tried and tested method that will help reduce the pain of engaging in PVP. I'll try to explain it here the best I can.
I recommend starting off with smaller objects like pencils. It will be uncomfortable at first, especially if it's the first time you've tried it. Once you get used to the sensation then start slowing stepping up the size of the objects. Sharpie Markers, then hairbrush handles and then long neck beer bottles. The goal here is to be able to use the wide end of a baseball bat.
One you're fairly adept at balancing all of these objects on the tip of your index finger, cause honestly what else would I be talking about, then you're about ready to fit up a frigate and engage in your first PVP battle. |

Here are a bunch of great options:
1) Join Red versus Blue. They are very newbie friendly and even have programs for helping new pilots.
2) Join EVE University and move into their low sec home in Placid and join their fleets.
3) Join a newbie friendly faction war corporation (there are many!).
4) Join a newbie friendly pirate corporation, such as Stay Frosty.
5) Join a newbie friendly null sec corp, such as BRAVE obviously.
6) If you absolutely refuse t do anything but solo, buy a bunch of frigates and destroyers and undock and go to low sec and hang around faction war complexes. |

When I started pvp, I was in FW. I bought 50 condors and a lot of cheap (meta 1 to 3) mods to put on them, this kept my fits around 1m each. The first 20 ships I lost experimenting with fits until I found something that felt right. The next 20 ships I lost learning to choose my targets. The remaining 10 I lost in good fights. Then I bought a new stack of condors, but by this time I had some of the skills to T2 fit them, this made my losses more expensive but now I did get the occasional kill. |

Frapsing helped alot my progress to get better in pvp. In combat most of the time you are so full of adrealine that you are just hammering buttons and have no idea what you are doing but after fight is over and you are cooled down you watch your recorded fight and start to see what you did wrong and right.
There are alot free programs to use like fraps or bandicam. |

Get into a corp with that focus. Use cheap ships, like frigates and t1 cruisers. Go to low sec, be FW or not. Lose a few ships. Yes lose ships. The most importatn thing to learn in pvp is to control the adrenaline and fear when things get hot.
You only get that after you lost some 3-4 ships usually.
Ask the guys that were with you what you did wrong, try to do it better on next time.
Do it like that and in 2 weeks you will be far above the average of the server, as long as you keep the correct mentality.
